Sometimes Pakistan's testing / feasability studies and research investigation is not well understood, specially when China has many of these models flying

Its becoming hard to say NO to chinese and go for T-129 (which PAA is going for) after a squadron sized PAA pilots were trained on Z-10 and it was tested extensively.

T129 A129 from Italy, the biggest advantage is compatible with Pakistan before NATO weapon system, and the same AH-1 cannon.

You really have to view it this way


Is Military , Ranger Force , Navy , Border , Mountain Watch in better position to have 40 Z-10 or not Becasue now we have limited capacity


Option A:
40 Z-10 Choppers to serve in Military / Navy and Border force, can launch effective missions on ground ops

Option B:
0 Choppers, forces are firing rifle shots in air , can't get to certain places due to Terrain challenges


Z-10 Fits the bill, Import & Service Center
T-129 also fits the bill for Local Production


A Z-10 / T-129 , combination with Mi-35M is sufficient needs for Regional needs

Generally a higher need on Western Front for now with Afghan region

I thought Pakistan was committed to the T-129 since Z-10 did not live up to PAA expectations. Plus, I thought Pakistan and Turkey are in the final stages of negotiations to finalize the deal.

Certain Chinese equipment is also pushed for sale to provide a validating customer.. but in this case there is a real problem of being stuck with just 12 AH-1Z with sketchy spare backup so the Z-10 is still a capable if underpowered readily available alternative.
There was no “competition” as such between the T-129 and Z-10 since both came under a different purchase tier.

Yes i know dude, I'm the one who posted them before as well.
Just using them as a reference to it's capabilities and standing in PAA.

Let them be, i see another Dhruv in LCH in the making. We are testing these assets rigorously so that they end up as liabilities.

Ah-64D is going to inducted in there arsenal next year.
