Brother, i said some months ago to someone that PTI is a new religion. Today, i saw it happen in this thread.

@Dubious @waz I believe this forum has many Muslim members and as a respect to the feelings of Muslims love for Imam Hussain (RA), can you delete this blasphemous thread?

Nauzbillah. The honest struggle of Hazrat Hussain (RA) for Haq and martyrdom is reduced to the struggle for this ugly worldly affairs.

I am not a blind follower of JI or other political party like many other people here in Pakistan.I follow true Islamic teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah of Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) . The only reason I mentioned JI is because it has proper structure and mechanism of succession of leadership which is absent in other political parties and if you look at developed countries like u.s and u.k you will find similar mechanism of succession of leadership in their parties

I was actually a fan of JI and was in two minds whether to vote for IK or Siraj ul Haq but when JI joined together with JUIF, i gave up on them.

It was the single most stupidest decision and the death of party for them. My whole family was shocked and we couldn't believe it what he had done.

If they had contested alone, they would have many seats in Assembly. Molana Fazlu used the popularity and good reputation of Siraj ul Haq and ended up sinking both of them in the form of MMA.

I still believe Siraj ul Haq is the single most decent man in Pakistani politics but he's too simple a man and has been used by Imran Khan, Molana Fazlu and almost every other party to the point he hurt his own reputation and party.

I still find it stupid he is contesting under MMA alliance.

Ten Dul Hijja, all Muslims, Shia and Sunni remember Sacrifice of Ismael and Ibrahim. Ten Muharram, all Muslims, Shia and Sunni, remember the sacrifice of Al-Hussain!

We do remember, Hajj, the greatest of Islamic ritual, but one which was also observed by pagan Arabs, that's how massive was the sacrifice of Ismael and Ibrahim.

Ten Muharram is also enormous for all Muslims. It marked the time when another son of Ismael stood up but against the rule of family. That's how important it was, that Al-Hussain has to stand up against the form of government where son or daughter inherit the rule because he/she was born in the ruling family.

In this country Pakistan, the New Madinah, rule of family fighting it's last. Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shabazz claim to own the destiny of the country because they were born in the House of Sharif’s. 774.3 miles South in Karachi, another sire, Bilawal from the House of Bhutto-Zardari makes same claim.

Yazid died, but its legacy endured! Husaain accepted slaughter and became living but Muslims forgot the essence of Hussainiat.

Yazidiat is the rule of family; fathers to sons and daughters, mothers to sons and daughters. Yazidiat is the transformation of Khilafat into monarchy. Yazidiat is claiming to rule because of one’s so called royal birth.

Would devotees, voters, and lovers of Sharif’s and Bhutto’s recognize the essence of Hussainiat? Will they shun and disdain Yazidiat!!

I support your analysis. Keep speaking the truth brother, and don’t worry about the detractors.

Today the whole of the Islamic world (Sunni/Shia) is praising and blessing the memory of Hussain RA.

Most of us are cursing Yazid Lanatullah alayh/LA for the wicked murderer usurper which he was.

Unless we take lessons from our history, how can we understand the present?

Good reply. We don't follow anyone blindly. Having said that, One should not make claim that he follows true Islamic teachings, one can only try.

JI model is good and is effective for long term success and it reflects maturity of party and shows how institutions are build based on merit and not dependent on single person.

After the entering into politics and after the death of Maulana Maududi RAA, Jamaat e Islami went from being a grassroots Islamic organization focused on the people’s rejuvenation of faith into a solely political party which was focused on gaining power, even supporting dictators and corrupt parties to gain influence.

Dr. Israr Ahmad, among others, left Jamaat e Islami to pursue a solely religious party which transcended party affiliation and refocused the Islamic dawah on elevating iman among the people and reminding Muslims of the covenant of Allah swt. Actually this kind of group was the dying wish of Allama Iqbal RAA.

It is very telling that Imran Khan respects and follows the vision of Dr. Israr Ahmad.

But no need to curse anyone, that detracts from the sacrifice of Imam Hussain. Enough for us if we could grasp the sacrifice of Imam Hussain, RA. I never realized, but Iqbal signalled...

In my opinion and some others too, though it is not an article of faith, Isamel (May Allah's blessings upon him) was not sacrificed, Allah saved him and gave a ram as ransom, but sacrifice has to be fulfilled and Hussain as he was from Ismalite, had to sacrifice himself. Allah knows best.
Hope both Shia and Sunni Muslims understand the essence of Imam Hussain's sacrifice.

JI ministers were kicked out of KPK government due to corruption. Past leaders of JI criticized the military and declared shuhada as not accepted.

Now JI openly sits w N, PPP, Fazlu, and other parties to supplant Pakistan’s elected government.

As for Imran Khan, he has shared lectures of Dr. Israr Ahmad on his official twitter account, namely one in which an account was given that Quaid e Azam cherished that one day Pakistan would pave the way for Khilafat.

This is no small thing.

As far as PTI being a short term party, you will simply have to wait and see.

For the first time in Pakistan, it doesn’t matter about your ethnic, linguistic, cultural background, as the whole state has become united on the basis of nationalism.

These are very positive steps, and there is a reassurance that dynastic politics are now over.

Scholars of Sunni Islam have stated that it is permissible, and even praiseworthy, to curse Yazid LA.

This is because Allah swt Himself curses the tyrants of the world, and our loyalty towards justice should be absolute.
