The funny part is I am least interested in religion.

I can understand Joe's pain, I came to this forum after a hiatus to spend an idle sunday and already called a variation of islamphobic pagan bengali muslim who moved to usa and converted to christianity!! Someone even dig deep and found out my first name which I had as handle like 2 years ago before I changed it to irritate the Bangladeshis, and posted it as if its a big revelation!!

how do you live with so much of hatred and disgust brewing inside you ?

I don't know, I'm judging on the basis of how I think probably. I am a spitfire, but can't sustain anger inside me for even 30 minutes!

Hatred is a strong word. I hate attitudes and positions, not people. For people, the emotions that come into play are different. The highest respect I give to the masters of the art: people like Bang Galore, fatman17, Niaz, Penguin, CapnPopeye, whose facts are always good. The next is of decent straightforward people who might not always have the best information, but clearly have the best intentions. Then come the monkeys. Finally, the trolls.

What I have towards Hindutvavadi types is a cold but wholly determined contempt.

Hindutvavadi ? I don't know what you mean by that, to me it just sounds like proponents of Hindu way of life.. Clarification please.

At one time They believed that in a poor and unequal society like India

Well I'm no supporter or fan of BJP either. As a matter of fact, I consider myself apolitical. I'm in my country's side. Whoever is actively doing something for progress, I'm in that side.

So far as the communists of Bengal are concerned, or Mamta didi, all are deplorable.

I am originally from West Bengal, my family is a bit mixed, but I am a Bengali. I have voted a few times in my life.
In state election I have voted a CPIM candidate, not because I like CPIM, but because the person who was representing the block was a good and honest person.
I could not vote in the last general election, as I was out of country. But I would have voted Modi had I been here.

As of now, I can only say this, I will take the side of progress and progressive thinking. If I'm unable to decide, I will refrain.
