I wont go low like you in my speech. I knew that the Hindu population had gone down significantly in Pakistan. Looks like after driving a huge percentage of Hindus to India in the period 1947-50, you had a very insignificant minority left in W. Pak, so you tolerated them. In E. Pak though (which was effectively under W. Pak military occupation), where the percentage of Hindus were still in double digits, your policies ensured that they continue to come down.
Did you not specifically target Hindus and intellectuals in Operation Searchlight?

we also clearly see many of them coming back to Pakistan. we just dont scream from the rooftops about it. our media game isnt as good as india.

they came back because obviously its not easy to start life in a new country, especially if you dont have citizenship rights. But what forced them to take the drastic step of moving to another country leaving behind everything? If you were taking good care of them, why did they have to plunge into this uncertainty. There are still many living in India since many years hoping to get citizenship.

Tell me how many Muslims migrated to Pakistan post 1965 war. Dont count those who came via marriage.

obviously. i cant think of one famous practicing muslim out of those that left Pakistan for India. they were muslim in name only. they would swap india for any other country if they could get more money there.

so you agree that there is no hindu genocide going on in Pakistan, and that India is doing genocide on its hindus. we didnt drive the hindu population down. it was natural that many of them wanted to go india instead of being in a country that was being built was islam and muslims. i get it from their point of view, i understand their insecurity. but time has proven that it was unfounded.

what policies? name them. again, many hindus left of their own free will. India might call itself a secular republic on paper, but many hindus see india as a hindu republic, like Pakistan is an Islamic republic.

intellectuals, no. it doesnt make sense for us to do so. hindus, some that were part of the uprising/agitation.

blasphemy laws doesnt stop a hindu from practicing their religion. you are yet to find me one law where a hindu in Pakistan cant practice their religion.

depends. many are poor and India promises the heaven and the earth to them. obviously they dont get anything, but they didnt know that before they left. now they have the citizenship bill that they are trying to use to attract Pakistani hindus. lets see how that goes.
