Why Indians generally hate Aam Aadmi Party and Kejriwal?

I agree that votes from other parties moved towards AAP, however why the entire vote went towards AAP?? Are you saying entire Delhi is Muslim/anti hindu but 33% that voted for BJP??
One question - Who is Maken? :D

Being Muslim is not the matter. Being apprehensive about Hindus and more importantly aversion to work (and attraction to freebies) is very much a Delhi thing. Like I said, the anti Hindu/anti Sikh bias is my personal experience, it may not be the general trend. Point is the 33% BJP vote share has remained the same. Try as you might you can't increase that any further in Delhi itself, without compromising your core values. In that case, it will lose the vote of its ideological base and BJP will be just another Congress...and hence history.

The self hate is strong amongst the Hindu.
This differs from place to place actually. North of the Narmadas and South of the Himalayas, Hindus have had a history of collaborating with enemies - Turks/Arabs/Afghans/English etc. The hate is strong here alone. In the rest of the country, it's not that bad. :)

The anti Sikh massacres for example could happen only in Delhi. But like I said, I have not done much of a survey of any kind. It is my personal experience about Delhi.

Well Lokpal bill was just an excuse...the idea was to free Kejriwal for Loksabha...they got the dribbling and i am sure now will concentrate simply on good governance...minus all the nonsense...
His whole party & ideology was built around janlokpal. If he fails to press on that.. that would the first of his many downfalls to come. AAP as a party thrived on creating anarchy... & they need to keep continuing to do that in-order to get noticed by rest of India. Do you think he will be satisfied by just running Delhi? No way.. he wants to spread his wings throughout India.. & for that he needs to get noticed. You don't get media publicity for being good guy.. you need to be raising ruckus all the time to get noticed & keep media TRP flying high! & Kejri & his cronies are expert in doing that! INDIANS? This is only bout Delhi people. Can u bet on AAP in any other state? Say yes or no? ;)
Haryana is my bet. They did not contest last time, wisely I might add. Otherwise Delhi would not be such a surprise package for the BJP. :D

Dude, Indian Congress got you freedom from the British and Pakistanis :D
That's what they bank their votes on so far. All the old people filled with nostalgia used to vote for Congress with that in mind(And later because of a really great PM like Indira of course). If you see today some 10% of vote still goes to Congress. I guess that's the vote of the old people who don't change with time.

But the difference between today's Congress and the pre-independence Congress is very clear for young Indians. That Congress was a crucible with such personalities like Patel, Nehru, Gandhi and Bose. Today the greatest contribution of any Congressman to India or Indian politics, that anyone can think of is licking Gandhi's @$h fine clean so that the stink doesn't spread. And they made a PM of India do this job, which is insulting to India.

Having too many YES men will get you where the yes men will cheer even if your pants are missing. Rahul Gandhi is facing the same issue.

I expect BJP to be wiped out from pretty much all the Northern states over the next 2 to 3 years. I expected the rot to set in. But never believed it to be so fast.

Thats the biggest misconception about Capitalism.

Capitalism is like a pipe. It helps carry water in particular direction in an organized manner from one place to other. But if there is some debris in the pipe, the water flow stops and even bursts the pipe.

Same is the case here. Problem is not capitalism as they say. Problem is the inefficiency of the system to carry fruits of capitalism to the last person.

Your case is like the argument that Islam is getting bad name because of people practising it. There will be debris in the pipe if it is made the way it is. Strict Capitalism has its defects. It cannot be perfect. The simple reason being that it is easier to earn more money if you already have it. That is why we need socialist measures like progressive taxation and some basic amenities accessible for everyone.

That the Hindu is the majority in India is a farce of denominational khichdi slopped on us by the British. Unlike the Abrahamic faiths, there is no one homogeneous community called the Hindu at all. It is a mish mash of the nationalistic 35% (the current BJP vote base), and the rest made up of naxals, secularists, anarchists, the disgruntled, the liberals, the commies, the leftists, the coconut proxy missionaries, and the cultural Islamists.

I have mentioned before and I stick to it - Hindus number max 40% in India. I mean those who consider themselves Hindu. At the end of the day - it just makes us feel good... LOL. Aukaat dekho aapni. :D

Lol at only BJP voters being nationalistic. :D

It's a general statement. Nationalists are not necessarily BJP Supporters. They are left with little choice these days. They are the only party now to say 'Vande Mataram' openly. No other political party does it anymore...lest it offends Muslims.

Its just a general question I am trying to understand after this party's recent victory in Delhi's election. Thanks in advance for your valuable response :-)

Residue of the significant left-wing post Congress defeat. Indians had enough Socialism under Congress.

Congress is the grand old party and i am sure they will survive these onslaughts...though being a congress hater i might not like it however for the sake of healthy democracy we need all the parties to stay relevant...
To Me AAP's approach is the real congress of 30's and 40's.
Congress in it's current configuration has no relevance and it's decimation will be a welcome move for India. Next in line would be SP, BSP, TMC, CPI, AIADMK and DMK hopefully.

AIADMK is better off atleast in TN from a development and sectarian perspective.
