I noticed some Pakistanis calling themselves as "Desis"?
What does that mean, and it apparently also includes Indians and Bengalis.
It sounds very stupid and nonsense to me especially because it includes foreigners.

only those psychos who think that Pakistan is located next to india and bangladesh call themselves Desis

Okay, good for you. I don't know why you needed to open a thread about it.

Hey, it was opened in Pakistan affairs; I don't know why it bothers you.

Well, desi is simply 'hamwatni'.
Everyone uses the word differently I think, but in the general context it does mean people from India and Pakistan alike.
I personally wouldn't call a Tamil or Sri Lankan desi, but I would call a Gujarati or someone from Delhi desi; as I would someone who is Bengali.

Desi = One from the region

When we travel abroad we miss our homes and families that feeling is same for many Pakistani and Indians
so perhaps they associate the feeling one experienced from their counter part.

I personally do not consider Bangladesh as seperate nation, never will

Desi comes from the word "Desh" which means country or the UP version "Des" which means country as well. Desi's are citizens of one country.
