That verse is a happy news because it talks about God love. Getting ridho (acceptance) from Allah is already said in Quran as bigger than heaven, and this verse talk about God love, greater than ridho.

Why don't you believe the stories of the Syrian teachers from the early days of the war, who were killed by the "moderate rebels" and the bodies tossed from buildings ?

Or the story of the notorious "moderate rebel" who went about eating hearts and livers of pro-Assad people ? A very "hearts and minds winner" kind of person.
