Shod with Dainite studded rubber soles these things are comfortable and designed to eat miles in style. The British still do the best in quality craftsmanship. The cheaper Loakes are made in India which I of course conspiciously avoided buying.

But all the style and serrvice cost a arm and leg. But you only live once.

And I gave the manager a long pep talk about Pakistan. Got him to think about visiting Pakistan. He has been to India few times and even Bangladesh. That got me working on hin. How could he miss the jewel of South Asia. It was time for Alexander, Porus, Taxila, Gandhara, Sirkap etc etc

I definitely got him interested in Pakistan and gave him much to enthuse over. This is called cultivating soft power. So if you live in Yorkshire go visit Loakes in Leeds and chat with Joe the manager.
