I am a big fan of Sallahuddin, but I dont think any of his successors were half good.

Sallahuddin Ayoubi was one of the best Sultan/General of Islam. He was among the very few leaders who left positive image on the Non-Muslims also. I know many of the christians praising him for his war techniques.

He was unique of his kind and nobody else can replace him whatsoever. He was one of my 10 favourite Muslim leaders of all time

Yes, and he is one of my favourite leaders.

His war techniques were unique, master of desert war fare and seizing castles. He was respected amongst non muslims because he himself respected other religions as well. May Allah give him peace.
