It is a very popular saying that "Aik Miyan main do talwarain nahi rah sakti". Another famous quote is that "Aik talwar do Miyan main nahi rah sakti".

I am not saying Niyan is wrong but the common and popurly known word is Miyan. I did not know you can call it Niyam also

Miyan is called "Scabbard" in english so i just typed in my dictionary and see what it says
