What's new

Whatever

imagine clean re-population of earth after some catastrophe or introduction of more humans into some newly settled planetary colony.
That will be exciting....
i too believe that human birth process in near-future will become in vitro than remain the messy, inconvenient and sometimes risky thing it is now, though the klnd of evolution you were discussing would take a few tens of thousands of years at least if at all possible.

there will be biological standalone wombs similar to ( Axlotl Tanks - Dune Wiki - Frank Herbert, David Lynch, Sandworms - Wikia )... not only certain necessary traits ( found through continually developing research ) like resistance to diseases can be introduced naturally through this but also can be bred clones at full size.
For me everything has it's limits. Nature has it's ways and why mess with it. These methods will be tried.

agreed.
That gutter mouth came back as sheray punjab and you can ask @WAJsal and @Ifrit what happened after that
Seems like you don't know the first thing. After Sheray he came back as last of patriots, again banned.

make up is a global thing now not just pakistani.

Yup. But some nationalities do the pancake thing more than others. Pakistani sahebas and Iranian women. Same with the dyeing the hair fetish. Not happening in my eyes at least.

And this trend of artificial impossibly thin plucked/painted/whatever eyebrows really gets to me.

A girl looks pretty with natural eyebrows. Even slightly bushy. I would draw the line at unibrows though.

Pakistani women in general are beautifully groomed. Have the natural advantage of nice skin and bone structure. And yes, built nicely too. With of course nice stylish clothes (hate the humongous sunglasses though - very 1960s).

But this makeup thing is very off putting.

@WAJsal @Akheilos , your opinion??

edit : doesn't the film "matrix" show something like this??
what?

Machines will give birth to humans

Woh lastofthepatriots was razoak didnt know that

Machines will give birth to humans
define how much is machine related and how much human factor (eggs/ sperms) is put in or everything is from machine.

So far its like making coffee even then the machine needs you to put in coffee beans and water...

To me the most interesting project going is the Russian immortality project

2045 Initiative

thanks, will read shortly.

some years ago, i found this american-led project ( Lifeboat Foundation: Safeguarding Humanity ) but reading through it i thought their political views are so vile and obscene making the project look like some nato project.

@jamahir @django remember @SherayPunjab from the earlier days of my thread

i don't remember him in your thread that clearly but remember his posts elsewhere - needlessly aggressive, very dehati, moralistic... i don't understand how people can dedicate time to behave in a jaahil manner.

Obviously the zygote will be from humans but it will grow inside a machine,s life cell incubator thingy
so in short the machine will be more or less act as a surrogate mother

ahhh...dont know how far we are from such things...Not up to date with such research as it doesnt interest me as to why anyone would want to miss out on such an experience

While there are some who cry they cant have children and then there are idiots who want to make it "easy"

Well, I can understand for those who cant have to use such a machine as surrogate

i understand your doubt/concern/dislike and i as a socialist want nothing more than live in harmony with nature. :)

i am not a great fan of big technological intervention in everything ( i don't even use cell phone ) but the technologic advancement i wrote of ( biological standalone wombs ) seems so natural, high-tech but also low-tech... it can only enhance and allow for a gentle, scientific humanity, but only if guided by calm, progressive people of course.

Woh lastofthepatriots was razoak didnt know that

me too.

So many women die during this process so machinifying it will save lives and besides still the kid will still carry your genes

Just imagine the best of his genes combined with the best of her genes to have statiscally speaking the healthiest of child possible in a lab controlled environment

one reason for me is that as someone working for a communist humanity, the idea of family is obsolete and raising infant humans should really be the responsibility of the enlightened society... this should be understandable to us of the subcontinent where "honor killing" concept was probably birthed and where children mostly inherit the varied levels of economic, social and intellectual poverty of their parents.

Genetically transferred diseases will be wiped out

The planet will be full of genetically engineered perfect humans

Genetically transferred diseases will be wiped out
they will be in the sperms and eggs too...

So many women die during this process
Actually if you compare it to success rates it is not soo many....So when you say so many- what are you comparing it to?

Just imagine the best of his genes combined with the best of her genes to have statiscally speaking the healthiest of child possible in a lab controlled environment
That happens pre zygote stage...But the min the sperm and egg are mixed or a zygote is formed you cant choose the best of the genes no more...
