His name is Gabriel, though I call him Mr. P on account of him being a Great Pyr. We didn't name him, his previous owners did (what kind of butt couldn't care for such a well-mannered and docile dog?), but it's French enough for a French origin dog, so I think we'll keep it.

!!! Mmm, duck!! But the good thing about Pyrs is that they are lazy. One 20 minute walk... and the dog wants to sleep for the rest of the day. They eat once a day, drink once a day, go to the bathroom once a day, and sleep for the remaining 23 hours. They're more like cats than dogs. But they are fiercely loyal and independent, but unbelievably friendly unless threatened, great with kids, other animals, you're lap, and are the most gentle dogs I've ever come across. .

Yeah but wouldn't listen when huntingno, even the common house lizards are poisonous to humans... so my advise is let him chase birds but give him enough meat ( and fish ) so that he doesn't go after lizards.
