What Makes ISI among top Intelligece Agencies?

If you want the best intelligence agency it's not ISI, not raw,KGB or Mossad, it's actually CIA. The emerged from the shadow of the OSS and hence has a trak record of breaking empires ad super powers. It has the most advanced electronic survailance program know to us and with the help of the DSS has the largest pool of field agents, these among other factors make the CIA the most lethal intelligence agency.

Just my opinion on the subject.

Btw here is a funny and entertaining video, not factual but fun;
C.I.A. vs K.G.B The Deadliest Warrior Episode 9 Season 2 - YouTube

Okay please dont call me an Indian with fake account bcz em a Pakistani Guy with some questions.
So what really makes ISI in the top Intel Agencies??
What have ISI done in the last 15 Years?
Now please dnt mention Trainibg Mujahideens blah blah because it was not done for the advantage of Pakistan.Saudis dollars workrd for zia.
I was a big fan of ISI but not anymore...
Okay lets think what have they done in the last 5 years? Please dont say that their hands are tied and politicians dont let them work etc...everyone knows who work above the politicians.ISI is not so innocent that they couldnt work under such conditions.
Another excuse People give is about missing persons that ISI kidnap them and execute them.Oh Please! I never saw that Malik Ishaq is kidbapped? Aurangzeb Farooqui,Ahmed Ludhianvi and etc...And even ex ISI chief Hamid Gul Keeps Praises them.Ever ISI have arrested any Sectarian Terrorist? Even One??!!
we had the like of you here before and you are not the first one here dear. You reminded me of this dude who got words of wisdom from the senior chief Oscar
http://www.defence.pk/forums/pakistan-army/257364-no-i-t-infrastructure-pak-army.html
so don't come in here barging with this attitude like you know this world.
Do your homework first and than come back to us asking questions.
If you have not heard about any ISI personnel getting killed than sorry to say its not my fault, you need to widened your social circle. You will never hear about Intelligence personnel getting killed in action anywhere in the world.
The reports of potential threats are sitting on the table of your Interior Minister, go and ask him to take action, if want intell agencies to take action than don't come in here moaning about extra judicial killings and missing person case.
No body is perfect, either you compplete the mission or you fail it. either you win the war or you loose it.

What are you going to say about NSA? whose secrets are exposed all over the world....are you going to label them as noob intel agency? or CIA failed to monitor Afghanistan post soviet withdrawal, or the KHAD failed to intercept militants entering red zone in kabul just a week ago?

On the lighter note ....to answer your childish question, why ISI is world class agency than my dear They are the best because they kept OBL hidden from NSA, CIA for almost a decade.....NSA the agency who is snooping in on every single word you and me type....CIA with world class advance tech....so yes they failed to find OBL for a decade...that makes ISI a world class agency (sarcasm)....now go and do your work....kido

There is no problem with ISI,,

ISI is fully operated and limitless by nature,,

Problem are those who run the ISI........:pakistan:

I am the son of a murdered judge

By Muhammad Saad Khan

Published: July 1, 2013

My father, Muhammad Jamshed Jadoon, was posted as a judge of the newly-established Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) in Gilgit, in 2005, by the orders of the prime minister secretariat. In fact, based on national interest, he had volunteered for the position when nobody was willing to do the same due to insecurity and the uphill task of establishing an ATC in Gilgit, which would have been the first of its kind. Sadly, after serving for more than 11 months in June 2006, he was murdered in a public park in broad daylight.

The accused was convicted by my father for the burning of a police station, following which he was jailed. However, he was facilitated from the jail by the police, which is when he committed the crime of murdering Jamshed Jadoon and was subsequently handed down a death sentence by the ATC. In the meanwhile, many high-profile politicians and religo-sectarian parties approached our family with their various offers of pardon on behalf of the convict, but we refused to accept all the offers and stood firm on our stance for due process of law and justice to be served.

Now, we have come to know that the accused has, once again, been let out of prison and this time, to find his way out of the country and out of the reach of the law. We can’t help but feel stupid for relying and trusting the judicial system for justice.
The question that arises is, if a judge of the ATC cannot receive justice in this country, how can ordinary citizens? If the state cannot protect its own custodians, how will it protect its citizens? People from Gilgit state that when we refused the offer of religo-sectarian parties, a deal was struck with the help of our own “security agencies”.

The family was kept in the dark for six months about this whole event until news reached us through intermediate channels. Now, we are told that it is an open and shut case since the accomplices — who could have assisted and usually belong to the police department — who help such criminals escape have been handed down sentences of 12 years to life imprisonment. Besides, who can guarantee that they will not be freed or their sentences commuted at a later stage.

Finally, I have come to the conclusion that there is, in fact, no system of justice in Pakistan. If there is, it is for the facilitation of the ruling class or the US. It reminds me of how a mockery was made of the whole judicial system when Raymond Davis was escorted free from the courts within hours and through legal process. While the same process, for an ordinary citizen, requires a long span of time stretching to months and years. This is the reality of our judicial system.

My family and I have few options. We can either get into negotiations to no avail, accept blood money and forget the whole fiasco ever happened or we can simply pick up a gun and get justice for ourselves — the latter we won’t do. In the absence of the state, there are very few legal options for a family seeking justice in this land. It makes one wonder why the criminal is so strong in this country and the toiling, honest ordinary man so weak?

Security services are as inept as courts are. When you don't provide proofs to judges or protect them properly, they gonna rat you out. Taali sirf ek haath say nahi baajti Hazoor wala

And not to forget the gem statement of ISI to supreme court in Adiala jail missing persons case last year, We don't have proofs to prove them guilty but still we are holding them

So now this is also the Job of ISI ?? .. please wake up & Stop blaming your failures on one Agency that is actually working

So why are you crying kangaroo courts if courts releases someone due to lack of proofs?

I think our failure in the war on terror has taught us that the ISI is far from perfect. ISI has many flaws and we should be asking the question what have they done in the past 10-15 years which is so remarkable. Their performance against the terrorists has been really weak.

I don't understand what the difficulty is in eliminating these terrorist groups with such an advanced military. Somebody should be held accountable for the daily losses we suffer in the war on terror.

Bingo, perfect response. I totally agree.

ISI admittedly is not top on Intel rank which many claimed. Look at the 11 Foreigners mountaineer including Chinese were killed last week.

Not lack of proof .. more like Intimidation .. Agencies do provide proof but Judges always say Not Enough .. and free the Terrorist .

So Excuse me for Calling these Monkey Courts ..

And why arrest them? Just kill them.skip the procesd of courts.
Ecen i know where is the HQ of Sipah e Sahaba in Karachi.making the nation fool.

when they do kill them you guy cry about missing people and other drama
isi is not a law enforcement agency its job is to gather intel not enforce law
it has provided intel about terror attacks several times but your police doesnt give a damn

If so them Fire the whole . IB , FIA & CIA & give their budget to ISI .. then yes you can talk until then please refrain from talking about thing you dont understand .

And you got to be fcking joking me, Go buy a book of constitution and read specific chapters on what court requires to make a person guilty and then analyze the material provided in courts of so called intel agencies. If that qualifies proofs, I'm willing to beat the hack out of any judge who let terrorists walk out of court next time
