What is there left to destroy? This is an utterly failed country with failed institutions.

Pakistan's name is under threat. If this country is named after what it is now, we fear it will not be called "Pakistan" anymore. What is happening is neither "pure" nor "the land of the ones who are pure."

We need a driver to get us back on track, and the only hope is Imran Khan. If our armed forces kill him (which they have attempted at least twice), then there may be complete chaos like in Afghanistan.

Harsh. However the more I witness the complete and utter insanity in Pakistan and to my stunning surprise, the CONTINUED acceptance of this widespread insanity BY THE PEOPLE, I tend to reach a similar conclusion if I look at it completely harshly and critically.

Many countries across the world are led by corrupt leaders who have developed a corrupt and ill society, leading many locals in those country to accept status quo and EVEN ADOPT IT, but Pakistan has one of the largest diasporas in the world, most of us (most families) have a degree of knowledge about how the situation is in at least well-functioning countries, yet we are completely unable to rise up and change the sad status quo?

Why has there never been an "Iranian Revolution" or "Arab Spring" in Pakistan? When most Muslim nations were fighting against their colonial oppressors, most of Pakistan accepted them. We even received (that was what it was) our independence without any fight whatsoever.

All this is very telling.
