No, you just happened to be further away from invaders than northern Hindustan was.
You've also been conquered a fair few times (especially by us Muslims). Nothing to be ashamed of though, invasions happen. What matters is how much you resisted the invasion and how you progressed afterwards.
For example, when Alexander of Macedon invaded Pakistan, it was one of his most difficult campaigns. Yes, he did win, but resistance was fierce with his troops suffering high casualties as compared to other campaigns, he also took an arrow to the chest in Multan and lost his horse in Jhelum. In fact, he only barely managed to defeat Porus of Jhelum and because of the sheer bravery of Porus and his forces, Alexander made him his satrap over an area even larger than the initial kingdom under the control of Porus. It was this brutal campaign that convinced the Greeks not to advance any further, with Alexander famously having this to say about the people of the Indus when writing to his mother:
After the invasions, Greek culture massively influenced the region and was used to make beautiful pieces of architecture and further our knowledge of the world, with many Greeks also assimilating into the region. So we not only resisted, but we also made the most of this invasion:
Moral of the story: It's okay to lose, so long as you try your best and learn from your mistakes.
