How is fertile Ganga make a connection with the outside world? Which was the point I made. Geographic disadvantage means (in the context of what I said) they are too far from coastlines. Also, exports to highly populated Northern States generates revenue to Southern States. Go figure.

We are culturally very different except resemblance of Punjab with eastern Punjab (khalistan).
