I don't think it's fair to give us a single origin, different clans would have different origins, we just all intermixed with each other to form a single tribe.

I think clans like the Kasana's, Khatana's and Chechi's came with the Kushans, and others like the Tor's came with the Huns. Some of the clans we share with the Jats would have also probably come with the Indo-Scythians.

And then of course you've got the fact that Muslim Gujjars are genetically pretty distinct to Hindu Gujjars (well, the ones in north-west Hindustan/Pakistan anyway), which opens up a whole other can of worms:

North Indian upper castes less Aboriginal DNA compared to South Indians.

You can find a charcoal black Tamilian Brahmin. You won't find a very dark Kashmiri Brahmin. Although there are light skinned tamil brahmin as well

but i think kashmiri gujjars bakarwals are entirely different from gujjars of india and pakistani gujjar (non kashmiri)

Yeah, which only make us an even more varied group.

By the way, not all Kashmiri Gujjars are Bakarwals or Van Gujjars, you get regular Gujjars over there as well (some of family were Gujjars in Azad Kashmir) AFAIK.

3) Delimitation of seats. North India will be allocated more seats. South India's share will go down
4) Increased migration to South. South had lower fertility rates than some western countries. While North continues to breed like African countries
5) Water crisis. India is going to face severe water shortage. South India will be the most hit by it. The central government does not want to solve cauvery issue to make southerners fight each other. Southerners are realizing this evil divide and rule policy. It's a matter of time befire they unite against the North.
