What do we love about Pakistan and India?

Bollywood uses a dialect called "Hindustani" - which is a dumbed down version of Hindi with some Urdu words thrown in.

and i also love being a pakistani, because a pakistani presence pissses the indians esp in pdf, which i find quite amusing :D

@KarachiPunk: Its unfortunate from Pakistani and Indian Point of view that some people like you from both sides of border are always there to spoil the warming relations between the two nations. What do you mean by pissing mate. Does that really give you pleasure?? On one side handfull of good noble peoples from both sides try to fill the gap between the two nations (Wasim Akram, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and many more from Pakistani side and few from our sides) and there are people like you who doesnt care (Zaud Hamid, Pravin Togadiya). Common gyuz get some life. Bring both nations closer, build confidence so that one day people like me would come frequently to visit to Lahor, Swat vally, beaches of Balochistan. Eat those lovely dishes from north west frontiers near peshawer and so on..

Hope to visit all thoes destinations
regards

I agree with the rest of your post but you should have explained your view in details rather than dismissing my post as "useless", however i have to disagree regarding india, majority of the common indian speaks hindi and some other languages, while most bollywood films use Urdu in order to promote indian films/media in Pakistan. Only 1 or 2 indian states have Urdu speaking majority.[/QUOTE]

You are crazy man. They think of Pakistani audience which is around one-seventh of Indian population !!!! And they used Hindi-Urdu Khichdi language (tilted much in favour of Hindi) in movies, not Urdu. BTW, Hindi and Urdu are very similar, that is why even you being a Urdu speaker (I think) getting confused.

let's not forget, at the heart of India she is founded as a completely SECULAR nation. Not a one-religion nation.

It should not concern you then boy, what one religion or two religion state others have.

lol can you give us one favour . Please pick one bollywood song or few dialogue of bollywood movies expcept these words manglam bhagwan Vishnu manglam Garuddhavjam which Pandit read in marrige ceremony or at the time of seven pherey.
Pick any songs and tell us which words are taken from hindi or urdu. Let us be the judge of your knowledge of urdu /hindi. I know many Indian who consider pure urdu words as Hindi because thats what they are listening from childhood. If words of urdu in bollywood are like salt in food then how those Pakistani who never learned hindi understand all movies almost 99.99 percent.

As far as hindi-urdu concern its better if we do some research before posting.

Urdu developed under Persian, Arabic, and Turkic influence over the course of almost 900 years. It began to take shape in what is now Uttar Pradesh during the Delhi Sultanate (1206–1527), and continued to develop under the Mughal Empire (1526–1858). Modern Urdu is mutually intelligible with the younger register of Hindustani, which is often simply called "Hindi".

The original language of the Mughals was Chagatai, a Turkic language, but after their arrival in South Asia, they came to adopt Persian. Gradually, the need to communicate with local inhabitants led to a composition of Sanskrit-derived languages, written in the Perso-Arabic script and with literary conventions and specialised vocabulary being retained from Persian, Arabic and Turkic; the new standard was eventually given its own name of Urdu. Urdu is often contrasted with Hindi. The main differences between the two are that Standard Urdu is conventionally written in Nastaliq calligraphy style of the Perso-Arabic script and relies heavily on Persian and Arabic as a source for technical and literary language, whereas Standard Hindi is conventionally written in Devanāgarī and draws on Sanskrit. However, both have large numbers of Persian, Arabic, and Sanskrit words, and most linguists consider them to be two standardized forms of the same language, and consider the differences to be sociolinguistic, though a few classify them separately
