Malaysia has other Muslim countries like BD which will help it.
India took on more than it can chew it now finds out.

Once the core group of Muslim countries like Turkey, Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia and BD start the formation of a Muslim bloc, Hindu India will be it’s first target I think. You are poor and technologically backwards and so an easy target.
Useless Gulf countries can then be sidelined as they are holding the Muslims back.

Really as BD already asking Malaysia to offer former Indian bound Palm oil to BD instead.
BD has decent demand of 2 million tonnes a year growing at 8-10%.
Pakistan did not go as they are in debt - once this is sorted they will be one of the core countries of this new Muslim bloc since they are located strategically and are militarily strong.
Turkey and Malaysia have started against India. More Muslim countries will follow and you know how much passion that BD’shis have for their Muslim brothers and sisters in Kashmir.

If that option was indeed exercised and Malaysia was not willing to climb down, then the next best option would be to take Malaysia's supposed offer of increase raw sugar and beef imports from India to balance trade between the countries.
All Malaysia and Turkey have done is offer some platitudes and no concrete action. It is likely that the motives behind their action are greater than the Kashmir issue that they chose to target. As they say, "Sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me"

I left out Pakistan as they have huge debt problems for now. Countries on my list have stable economies and most are large - ~100 million+ population and so will have real weight in the world in 10-20 years

Malaysian PM took it calmly like a senior state man. The child is India, one who is afraid to take on the big boys (Turkey and China), instead picked on the weaker one. It truly reflects very badly on India as a big country.

Nothing said about China because India knows that it’s always in Pakistan’s corner about Pakistan.

India is not a reliable partner as Malaysians thought it was for all these years.

The bitter truth is India is a Hindu nationalist nation driven by RSS's extremist and racist ideology. India will remain this way, as it has been since its inception, regardless of how many Indians are handed out Malaysian citizenship.

This is also a wake up call for Malaysia's policy makers and its good that Malaysians are finding out this sooner than later. As a start, Malaysia needs to seriously curtail the invasion of its labour market by Indians before its too late.
