He was removed because of external pressure. It is not just India but also that he tried to be Ummah leader without any power of his own. That is why he was shown the door

It's a nice poison until they fuk it all up. When votes bane, all the parties look for Islamists vote bank and this Zakir Naik guy is gaining popularity in Malaysia if not he already is famous. So much that his comments stroked racial and communal tensions in Malaysia and yet got away with it.
