How do you know BD is going to increase its palm oil imports from Malaysia? It just asked for a better price. Thats all. You kept running around the thread as if Bangladesh is going against India and benefitting Malaysia.

1) Its not going against India - otherwise they would have sanctioned Indian imports to Bangladesh in the first place before signing up for additional palm oil with Malaysia.
2) Its not out to benefit Malaysia - otherwise they would not have been negotiating on the price at this time.

Bangladesh was simply taking advantage of situation like all other muslim countries do to each other.

Its been 10 days since the offer from Bangladesh came, not even a simple response from Malaysian side. They wouldn't issue a response because they much rather appease India and come out of this situation than be taken advantage of by a puny country.

BD publicly announced the offer to take some of the lost exports to India to demonstrate this publicly to world. This was both to slap India down over it's desperation to cleanse some of it's Indian Muslims by labelling them as BD'shis and also to publicly support Malaysia and Kashmiris(who are suffering oppression from India).

Malaysia has no need to publicly make an offer as there is no need to do this and negotiations may already have started.

BD and Malaysia will come to some agreement at a mutual time and place of their choosing and there is no need to make this all public for your entertainment.

BD has millions of migrant workers in Gulf and cannot afford to upset those countries and risk losing billions of US dollars if the migrants are sent home.

The plan is to create 100 SEZs by 2030 and then no need to rely of Gulf income anymore.

BD was not invited as it already told the others why it could not come at this time.

As BD becomes stronger economically and militarily it would start to flex it's muscles more.
