Wearing Hijab Not An Essential Religious Practice, Says Karnataka High Court

This is mostly mental gymnastics by some Indians regarding the hijab and mandatory Islamic ruling

I think it is important to distinguish between:

-Individual choice (personal conscious decision)

AND

-Religious choice (according to religious ruling)

Everyone has free will, there is no magical force which makes sure you follow every rule, it's something you have to actively do

Just like when you are playing a board game, there are mandatory rules you must follow, but your body does not magically force you to abide

So while the hijab is mandatory, it does not mean every woman will wear it, some will simply not follow the rule. But, this does not mean it is no longer mandatory.

Lol, Islam is an Abrahamic religion. No? Pardah is mandatory in islam.

No.

We are talking about Hijab not burqa.

You think this notorious misinformed and misguided girl , Muskan, doesn't want burqa imposed on all her student colleagues ?

That's not a burqa

She has a face mask on for COVID-19 while wearing a hijab

If you have a brain, you will question all sacred books, pick up what is relevant and get rid of a lot of ancient nonsense. Religion served to the stupid partition of India, Muslims fighting to be the rulers instead of sharing power with other minorities as it happens in India. The Hindutva movement is not much different, and also represent a sort of fascism. There are many useful and wonderful traditions in many religions that serve to promote a peaceful society. We should analyse each of them according to the underlying principles and its relevance in modern times.
British divided India. Partition was approved by the British parliament. On the other hand, Indian Muslim rulers created Delhi and Mughal empires in the tradition of Maurya empire.

LOL, what is the black dress she is wearing ? A for-one-day graduation gown ? And will she remove that dress and that COVID mask once COVID becomes a yearly minor flu when masks need no longer be worn ? Come on, should we really do this hair-splitting ?

It is not upto the individual to practice it or not, Hijab is mandatory and if someone is practicing it or not shows the level of Iman in HER (as Hijab is for women, men need to cover their head with hat)
Quran says there is no compulsion in religion which means individuals decide how religious they want to be. Quran also says you are not other people's boss in religious practise.

No.

Let them female chose, you cannot force any one dress selection, particularly if she wear modes dress

Search up what the burqa is, that's not a burqa

Burqa covers the entire face, only leaves the eyes

That's an abaya at best

@jamahir i understand what you are saying w.r.t Hijab however issue here is that one community has been allowed a religious symbol while other has not been allowed. I am sure there will be sikhs who wouldn't consider Turban to be a mandatory religious practice.
Americans can allow Hijab in their schools where this is not even part of their culture but it is banned in India where duppatta/purdah is part of the culture.

This ban is only inside classrooms. They can wear whatever they want outside. No restrictions on it.

Does scarf inside the classroom prevent learning? Or teacher's ability to think and teach? Just curious to know how Indians unfold rationality in their minds because you're quite okay with scarf outside classrooms and not okay with inside classroom. You must have a logical chain of thoughts that leads to this conclusion.

What is this good Muslim bad Muslim 🐂💩, why are you guys so bad at logical reasoning?

Shortcuts created by some so called "Muslims" to go to heaven without actually following Islam are being questioned here and therefore we must fight you, why can't you understand that!

Thanks for this. It is a major sin to ignore ties to our ancient ancestry.

ancient ancestry ??? It is more related to ties with our family and also to ties within our close friends who has similar faith in Islam
