Ironically all our institutions wake up when every threat become existential l. Military establishment under the rules of their generals haven't done anything about, nor they used their leverage to pressurise the politicians to do something about it. But they never shy away in twisting the arms of civilian government if they try little bit to undermine establishment's powers and interests.

The only thing which stops us so far that the SHINING INDIA will be converted into DARK INDIA for next 1000 years due to nuclear winter.

When i checked global fire power pakistan ranking is well bottom at 17th position while India is at 4th.Moreover India is almost more than 4 times than pakistan.Iran and Indonesia are more powerful than pakistan !

Last year pakistan ranking was 13th and now it slip to 17th ! So what about pakistan ranking in 2020?

Is any one know why pakistan slipping its military power every year compared to other countries?

The index didn’t count nuclear stockpiles for the ranking but gave points for nuclear capability, whether recognised or suspected.

Even pakistan concentrated much on its focus on military try to match with India, but why it loosing ground in ranking !

Pakistan considered most of its neighbours(Other than China) as hostile and most of the country who are much better ranking, does not have that much hostility, still they regained ground as top powerful military.

I think next year North korea and may be spain also gain ground and will be powerful than pakistan.I am just assuming that pakistan ranking will be 19th in 2019 and out of the top 20 club in 2020 !

Budget of north korean military is almost 10 billion dollar and little higher than pakistan defense budget and also more military personnel. They have big navy fleet compared to pakistan...

According to ranking, Iran looks more and more stronger every year even under sanctions...

Basically why in any country the defense personnel involved in real estate and other business,they will focus on such money making process and corruption rather than real protection of country !

Can you educate me why the ranking are false and why pakistan is at 17th position, while they are in 13th a year before.The next to come is North korea ranking 18th and they defenitely overtake pakistan next year as their budget,personal and navy are much bigger than pakistan.
