Talwar class is superior than F-22P in almost every area (stealth, SAM, anti-ship missiles etc) but yeah F-22ps are bang for the buck for Pakistan navy.

The PN admiral must be joking.

Our Navy is at its weakest point. In the last two years look at the slew of accidents and incidents. Ships gutted, submarines on fire, sailors and personnel killed.

IN will transform and become a strategic force only by 2020 PROVIDED the country is ruled by the likes of the new government that is favourite to come.

We need rapid promotion of military industrial complex.

no cuts, means cuts from Army and give it to navy

we should not cut the budget of our army because we r fighting a big war against terrorist, if we cut thier budget then our army will get waeaken the only thing we must do is that we just needs to cut the expenditure of our government. And should minimize the corruption and should collect taxes from everyone, then everything will be fine.

Pakistan is heading towards a South Asia version of North Korea

This means that we need a naval strategy to counter Indian ships and submarines using our submarines, modern missiles and air force. It is very easy to thoroughly damage the enemy who is on the offensive by deploying successful defensive strategy. Do you guys recall when Argentina sunk a large British ship in the war for Falkland islands using exorcist missiles. Smart missile capability must be our mainstay. We are not a threat for India, but if they ever attack us, they must find a match for themselves in our navy.

They cannot match numbers,they know that.thats the reason for praising chinese navy aand talks of bigger role in Indian ocean for chinese navy.

india has about 170 ships in her navy while pakistan has 71. but still this gap can be filled in few years if we show some determination.
