Van swerves into crowds in Barcelona : 13 reported dead and more than 50 injured

They can. As we see in Poland and other eastern european nations you have no terror when you remove that specific group.
Classic case of confusion correlation and causation.

No eastern european countries are part of e.g. the ani-isis coalition and have therefor not made themselves a target.

ISIS claims Barcelona.

You think that MIGHT have something to do with this?

How do you explain the fact there have been virtually zero islamic terror attacks in Poland ?

1. ACTUALLY: It is not being targeted (see previous post)
2. HISTORICALLY: It has (and has had) a homogeneous population, in terms of ethinicity
Population background % Population
Total population 100 38,512,000
3. HISTORICALLY: It is an inverse-"muslim nation" (i.e. Roman Catholic 91%, Orthodox 1%, Other 2%, atheist/non-believer/agnostic 5%, not stated 1% (Eurobarometer 2012) which is a-typical for most (Western) European countries

Spain is not involved either
Really?

ISIS claims parts of Spain and Spain has enclaves in North Africa which ISIS contests.

Historically they've also been shafted both ways within Europe too, by the commies and the nazis. Can't fault them for being extremely wary of the 3rd great evil that part of the world is now dealing with.

Good on them for keeping their borders sealed to the new wave of arab and african islamic migrants, zero jihad, the rest of Europe could learn a thing or two from them.

What NEW wave. In Poland there has never been ANY wave at all. And even in the countries in EU that take the most refugees from middle east (as opposed to migrants from Africa, two very distinct groups) there is no such thing as a 'wave': the influx % is simply to low to warrent such a term.

1960-1970
In Warsaw pact Eastern Europe 'foreign workers' were e.g. Vietnamese, whereas in NATO Western Europe they were Turks and Moroccans. Neither of which incidentally relates to the above two groups (refugees middle east and migrants africa).

So, blah!

.
The thing is that the migrants and immigrants do not want to go to Poland or EE as a whole as it doesn't currently offer the same advantages as WE,such as high standards of living nor high wages. You can relocate them there, but they'll try as soon as possible to leave.

There are even thousands of Poles or Eeastern Europeans migrating everyears to western EU countries. At least 200K Poles live in the Parisian region alone. And their number is rising.
That is true but Merkel still plans to dump some in Poland, and they're resisting. Hungary are also pushing back. The Eastern Euros who suffered under communism post the great war are aware of the generational dangers of unfettered islamic migration, they don't ever want to be in a situation where they get gunned down and their genetals mutilated and stuffed in their mouths by islamic savages like at the bataclan, or their young daughters being blown to bits at a pop concert.

Spain?? Why?!

Come on! WTF has Spain done to warrant this?

It is a quiet, idyllic country sitting on the Atlantic coast with its lazy leisurely beaches and tomato festivals.

May the deceased find eternal peace in the Hereafter. Om shanti!

Guess what, ramming by cars is going to be the next suicide bombing for decades to come. Thanks Palestinians !

Unfair biased und ultimately ahistorical! :nono:
No wonder, history is written by the victors, and never gives credit to the defeated.:lock:

Khalkhin-Gol: the pivotal battle that changed History during WW2

In August 1939, just weeks before Hitler invaded Poland, the Soviet Union and Japan fought the largest tank battle the world had ever seen.

Under the then unknown General Georgy Zhukov, the Soviets won a crushing victory at the batte of Khalkhin-Gol (known in Japan as the Nomonhan Incident).

Defeat persuaded the Japanese to expand into the Pacific, where they saw the United States as a weaker opponent than the Soviet Union. If the Japanese had not lost at Khalkhin Gol, they may never have attacked Pearl Harbor.

Commentary

In this battle, the Imperial Japanese Army (Kwantung Army) would field possibly the world's first suicide truck bomb brigade, along more conventional suicide infantry, as a tactics against the Soviets' tanks of Corps Commander Georgi Konstantinovich Zhukov!
