@Kaptaan
I see your point.
TBH, it is not in the best interests of the US to destroy Pakistan; even India would regret this.
Conversely,
human madness has no parallel in history.
I just tend to inform fellow brothers to tone down their rhetoric and be "pragmatic." It is wishful thinking on their part to perceive US as a
helpless bunny. This kind of pride is misplaced and ill-advised. What if US is springing a
TRAP for Pakistan and understand that Pakistani are emotional enough to fall into it?
We should be humble, levelheaded and competent in the matters of "diplomacy." Society should be
educated in these matters. Holy Prophet (PBUH) had these virtues and addressed many problems through these virtues.
Unfortunately, many Pakistani suffer from
martial syndrome and believe that confrontation is the solution to every issue and we need to behave like a lion. This is the byproduct of years of indoctrination about the myth of Pakistani defenses being impregnable and other forms of falsehood. I kid you not - I also bought into this nonsense when I was a teenager. However, as I matured and became inquisitive, various realities dawned on me and I was in shock. This is not how a society is supposed to function. Soldiers can be expected to give their lives for the defense of the homeland but not the society itself. There is no point in sacrificing the lives of thousands for creating Pakistan, only to loose it on the whim of some emotional idiots with martial syndrome.
In this very forum, you can notice that some members misbehave with me and call me an American stooge and vice versa. Trust me! I am not a stooge of anybody and neither I have political stakes in the US or any other state. I have grown to
respect power and US has plenty. If China was in the place of US, I would
respected its power in the same way. This does not imply that I agree with US policies in regards to different matters.
My fault is that I am humble, levelheaded and understand lot of stuff. Some mistake this for weakness but I can be as strong and violent as any individual but what is the point? What will I gain from lack of levelheadedness? I do not underestimate others and I do not underestimate myself either.
IMO, education should be TOP PRIORITY of Pakistan today. The first message from Allah Almighty to Holy Prophet (PBUH) was to "recite." What is the point of Holy Quran? To
educate the masses.
