US to use Afghanistan as base of drone attacks in Pakistan - Times of India

Free Trade Agreement matters not when the government is willing to scrap the paperwork and just let them in anyway? And that huge trade imbalance was due to Le Chinese operation 'Plunder en Masse' success? :yahoo:

But failed to defend that india too is getting 'plundered' according to his version of the definition?

So you have laid your cognitive faculties to rest. Nice to know.

How are all the above comments related to the news item?

And coming back to the news, we all know that Pak Army doesnt have the "balls" to say NO to America. They wanna use drones, they'll use drones, no matter what. Kiyani can do nothing to stop them!

lol of course it is India's fault to some extent. We should regulate our raw material including iron ore exports to China.

But at least we didn't sign an FTA with the country with whom we have a huge trade imbalance already.

See how the Indian troll has managed to divert the topic of the thread from 'US to use Afghanistan as base of drone attacks in Pakistan' to 'India China Pakistan trade imbalance'?

Please elaborate and enlighten the 'ignoramuses'? :azn:

There is much more trade between India & China as compared to Pakistan & China, & also a bigger trade imbalance between India & China as compared to Pakistan & China. The current trade imbalance between India & China is over $21 billion, while its $7 billion between China & Pakistan.

Dnt look by money cause if thread is big so difference is also big

Just look at percentage of import export between two countries

I dnt know the figures can you post source for that

U.S Is not going to Leave Afghan any time soon , But It is Good News that Drone strikes in Pakistan will be continued........Terrorism Should End....

Pakistan has No other Way but to Co operate with Them >> Good Luck To U.S

Of course % wise the imbalance is greater on the Pakistani side, as it is a smaller economy than India. However, India has a greater imbalance in absolute terms, which is three times that of Pakistan. But this is not a Pakistan vs India vs China thread anyways.

It is a big joke to accuse Pakistan of helping the terrorists and training them only to collaborate and fight against them in the so called 'War on Terrorism'.

It is a bogus war where all we see are naive young American men dying for little other than its country's hidden agenda to contain the growth of China, India and Russia. At the same time crippling Pakistan's economy.

Can any one post link where we can see trade between India-China and Pakistan-China

Are you saying that it is fine to have more trade embalance if your country have a bigger economy? in other words 'free plunder we have lots of resources'? (according to Mr. Exploded Mind's definition of plunder).

I stand corrected, the trade imbalance between Pakistan & China is $5.1 billion. The total trading volume between China & Pakistan is $8.67 billion, out of which Pakistan exports goods worth US $1.78 billion to China, whereas China exports goods worth US $6.9 billion.

Pakistan, China discuss trade deficit

Trade imbalance: 6.9 - 1.78 = $5.12 billion
Trade imbalance % w.r.t the total trade volume: 5.12/8.67 * 100 = 59%

India has a total trading volume of $55 billion with China, & the trade balance deficit between India & China is $20 billion.

India express concern over trade imbalance with China | News about radioelectronics

Trade imbalance w.r.t total trade volume: 20/55 * 100 = 36.4%

Also compare the total trade volumes between India-China & Pakistan-China. As India has 7 times the population of Pakistan, & 8 times the industry size, the $55 billion & the $8.67 billion respectively makes the total trade volume ratio for India & Pakistan with China at par, if not favoring Pakistan a bit more.

^^ I contend that this % for Pakistan will increase at a very rapid pace in future because of the FTA especially.

P.S. Now you know.

heh heh.. good try...

There is a reason that things like trade imbalance is looked at in terms of % of total trade by economists. Example...2 countries that import more than they export, one with a trade size of 2 billion and imbalance of 1.5 and the other with the trade size of 10 billion but imbalance of 3 billion. While the 2nd has higher overall trade imbalance, its in a less of a sticky situation than the 1st.

But I guess you already know this

You also forget that Pakistan is involved in a brutal war right now which has affected the economy badly, as well as had the worst natural disasters in the history of the world, & is trying hard to provide its citizens than exporting goods to China, right? Surely the % imbalance will go down once the war is over.
