US to send aircraft carrier strike groups into the Gulf region, after Iran

It is true.

To prevent this to happen again, both sides to be hawkish does not help since one side has nothing to back it up.

i think its safe to say we are all tired of this so called war on terror . i really wish the US does not try to do another Iraq here

Then why does Iran have a large population of Jews within their own country?

Anyway, Israel has a significant nuclear arsenal, enough to scare off most big powers in the world already. Iran won't nuke Israel because they will get nuked in return.

If Iran truly wanted to kill Jews out of racism, they would start with the Jews who live inside Iran itself. If they won't kill the Jews inside Iran, then why would they put their own existence at stake by nuking Israel?
Yes! absolutely right.
This shows that Iran don't hate Jewish pplz. cuz there is no enmity between Iranians and the Jewish pplz....:smokin:

US and our worldwide allies are increasing economic sanctions with an open stated view to
have regime change inside Iran. The US is not using military force to attack Iran. Internal
dissent is growing in Iran. Iran has used bloody represssion just as Syria is now doing to it's people
The time has come when the younger generation want and will get basic freedoms that are despite
or in spite of backward dictatorial mullahs who want to repress people to have iron clad control.
Hurray for the youth of Syria and Iran!
That's BS.no one believes you anymore.the whole human rights and freedom thing are a joke and only a tool for bullying other countries. If you really care for human rights, why did you support Shah before the Iran's revolution? Why are you supporting Arab dictators? You can't play the innocent and good one here.
and one thing else: Who is U.S for wanting regime change in Iran?Someone should first remove those warmongers in Washington. After Nazis,U.S is (proudly) the first country in number of people it has killed after WWII.you can't deny it.

Why does Iran want to 'regime change' Israel? Iran should make it clear to the UN. Is it the Palestinians issue? We have plenty of UN options for that. No need to resort to military means.

Supporting terror groups is...???

And why U.S want the regime change in Iran?
U.S also supported several terrorist groups who claim for live of lots of Iranians. The terrorism is the most abused word in modern history and only a tool.Look at Afghanistan. It has became much worse since U.S attack.Drug productions increased by 10 times since 2001 Iran prevents most of it from transiting to Europe.

US to send aircraft carrier strike groups into the Gulf region, after Iran's warning

The Pentagon said Tuesday that the United States will continue to send aircraft carrier strike groups into the Gulf region, despite Iran's warning against such a move.

"The deployment of U.S. military assets in the Persian Gulf region will continue as it has for decades," Pentagon spokesman George Little said in a statement. "These carrier strike group deployments are necessary to maintain the continuity and operational support to ongoing missions."

Iran's Army Commander Major General Ataollah Salehi warned on Tuesday against the return of the USS John C. Stennis, one of the U.S. Navy's biggest aircraft carriers, to the Persian Gulf.

The aircraft carrier had left the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman during Iran's recent navy drill in the Strait of Hormuz.

"Our transits of the Strait of Hormuz continue to be in compliance with international law, which guarantees our vessels the right of transit passage," Little said. "We are committed to protecting maritime freedoms that are the basis for global prosperity; this is one of the main reasons our military forces operate in the region."

Tensions in the Gulf region intensified after Iran threatened last week to close the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most critical oil route, if its oil exports are sanctioned by the West.

In response, the Pentagon said in a statement last week that " interference with the transit or passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz will not be tolerated."
