Automated vaccine and pharmaceutical factories located in some sparsely inhabited corner of USA make more sense to me, from a supply chain resiliency prospective. You cannot rely on Chinese vaccines alone and a good amount of lockdowns and natural immunity from infection of the young and healthy will also be relied on - both costly economically/mentally and will take many years to achieve.

well, my friend did have the chinese thrid class no good vaccine; he is buried already.. its problem is with pre-existing conditions, it fails to protect.
