Same goes for Iraq, the U.S armed Saddam throughout the 70's and 80's to confront Iran. He ended up hanged by his own people. Again, Iran owns Iraq now. As unintended it maybe, but Iran backed the right people in Iraq. The same in Syria, where yet again the U.S. instigated civil war with the same suspects, however it backfired, and now Iran backed militia's and allied forces control 93% of Syrian territory. The U.S. position is untenable in Syria. They can't win.

well said. but the question remain why usa doing this ? The dilemma for them is that there is no one to strike Islamic Iran. all their efforts met with failure. they need someone. secondly to terminate Iran;s Influence. whereever there is Iran's influence they will go there.
