US Census: Pakistani-Americans Are Young, Well-educated and Prosperous

Just over half million population? Thats too low IMO. Should have crossed 1 million by now.

Immigration from all nations into US dramatically slowed in Trump years.

A few years ago me and a friend were talking about a question.

he noted that 3rd world voters can never help their country. Puzzled, I asked, why? It may not be useful but... Never?

he simply said: if a 3rd world politician runs on a platform of negotiating with the US to immigrate as many people there as possible, they'd win an election ez pz. But if they carried out their promise their country would collapse. Hence the vote did not produce an outcome beneficial to the country.

That's the dumbest logic for saying your vote isn't beneficial.

You may as well say the candidate is running on a zero tax stance so when people vote him in the government folds due to lack of funds.

Or maybe the candidate is running on a Lemming stance so when people vote him everybody jumps off a cliff and drowns.

Pakistanis and Indians constitute the powerhouse of medicine. they be minting out doctors like US treasury mints out new coins

A couple of years go I came across a study that was a study by job profession on each immigrant group. I wish I could find it. I distinctly remember that the Chinese population was mostly in the service industry 'restaurant work' and S Asian groups were more into 'skilled professional jobs'.

There are wide variations within a particular group as well, but South Asians generally are well-represented in the medical professions, partly because of their better English language skills compared to equivalent immigrants from other countries.
There's no border between US and China thus illegal overstay is one of the only ways into the US from China, and Chinese illegal overstay rates are as low as Israelis. Illegal overstay rates is how the US determines how rigorous visa checks are for each country.

China doesn't have exit visas except to ensure that you possess a valid visa to wherever you're going.

So you would like us to pretend that China allows its people to apply for foreign visas and leave as they please?
Did EagleEyes ever say he was born here or did he just come over as a teen and start PDF?
I'm sure he's sitting pretty at the high end.

I have no idea.

1 million as in net worth or combined annual income?

Population in the US. Wow, you thought I meant income. I wish the annual income were that high. :) I hope the Pakistani-American population spreads beyond the cities and becomes more a part of most aspects of society. It’s mutually beneficial for the community and both the nations of US and Pakistan, I hope.

P.S. with the average salary listed for Pakistani-American households, a regular family can reach more than a million in net worth with proper investments and buying their own homes (depending on market conditions) over a life time.

Reaching $1mn in net worth is quite common these days. Several Asian Americans have been able to achieve that before they hit 35.

Also, $1mn in combined annual income is being achieved primarily if the wife and husb are doctors...those in finance are also able to do that

The report proves that the future of the USA is Asian. It's already happening but expect it to broaden as years go by. Immigrants from Europe are at an all-time low. Trump asking why Norwegians don't immigrate to the US. Easy. They have a better life in Norway.

Nevertheless, immigrants are the lifeblood of the US. Without them, the US would've been a mediocrity long ago.

I strongly believe US immigration should cater to the brightest and talented of the world. Giving them immigration visas and generous stipends. These are the people who will prosper. And if they prosper, the country prospers.
Shining city on the hill - really is. So long as people espouse the values and believe this country is theirs, it will love them back.

Not to mention the first Muslim American US Federal Judge is a Pakistani-American; Zahid Quraishi. At only 45 years old, Inshallah Allah grants him a long life, as a born in the US citizen, he could be eligible to advance to the highest court if appointed by a president and confirmed by the Senate.

Does not surprise me, but may to many who heard how smart the Chinese are, see in reality how poorly they do in countries outside of China. They can't fudge the IQ numbers in the real free world.
you must be the stupidest indian ever born. best of the indians escape overseas hence the state of bharat resembles a giant street-shitting venue. while best of Chinese will only go overseas for knowledge then return and use that knowledge to build China hence the American scramble to enlist bharatis to stem that tide

I've shown you the legal requirements from China's own customs and immigration bureau straight from the official website. If there's any problems with a Chinese person wanting to go elsewhere, it's not because of China, it's that the other country doesn't want them.

What you have shown is page linking to hieroglyphic characters. Perhaps an official version in English would be more helpful? It would be remarkable if a country that does not allow freedom of movement even within its own borders for its citizens would look at foreign travel more kindly, specially the kind that loses it talent.

It's not my problem that you can't read official publications in the national language which you can read as simply as putting it into Google Translate.

It's interesting how you try to make this about China's "freedom" to leave when clearly 150+ million people leave every year then come back voluntarily. You think a poor Pakistani or Indian granted a visa to the US or Canada will ever go back?

There's a reason why South Asians line up at the US embassy for hours, in searing heat or driving rain, with folders filled with documents proving your wealth and qualifications, asked humiliating questions, and most get rejected for the visa anyhow.

What is more interesting is your pretention that we buy the Chinese official narrative of illusive freedom for its citizens. The reason there are not as long lines outside of the US embassy in Beijing is simply because your government makes it very difficult for the citizenry to even get a passport to get to that point. Talk about devious!

Lmao I think the reason lines aren't so long is because China has 5-10x GDP per capita of South Asian countries on par with countries that are visa free entry to the US (like Hungary and Chile) and doesn't have incredibly high visa violation rates.
