That's old Sharifa for you, protege of Zia. This inter-tribe marriage nonsense was another way to keep the Afghans happy with Pakistan. You can never keep them happy.

why would anyone join Pakistan anyway. wasn't it based on Two Nation Theory? Hindus and Muslims different etc.,?

ISLAMABAD - The US embassy deputy chief of mission, Richard E Hoagland has once again disassociated the US government from a Congress resolution seeking independence of Balochistan by maintaining that such a resolution does not reflect the Obama administration’s policy. During interviews with Pakistani media on Sunday, Hoagland said the US administration respected Pakistan’s sovereignty. Reiterating the US State Department’s stance, he said Balochistan was an important issue but it did not form a part of the US foreign policy.
“We had taken up the human rights violation in the province with the Pakistan government. More than 4,000 resolutions/bills were presented in the Congress in a year but only 91 got approval,” he was quoted as saying. The spokesman said Washington respected Pakistan’s sovereignty as the province formed an integral part of the country. In a statement, US embassy spokesman Robert Raines said, “The United States respects the territorial integrity of Pakistan. Members of Congress introduce legislation on numerous foreign affairs topics and these bills do not in any way imply US government endorsement of any particular policy.”

‘All Pakistan Conference on 27th’: US resolution on Balochistan a ‘conspiracy’: DPC

RAWALPINDI: Terming the US resolution on Balochistan a conspiracy to disintegrate Pakistan, Defence of Pakistan Council (DPC) leaders have decided to organise an ‘All- Pakistan Conference’ in Balochistan on February 27.

Addressing a press conference after a DPC meeting, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq said that a five-member DPC delegation would visit Balochistan for holding the conference, adding that at least 30 political parties would participate in it.

He alleged the government was creating hindrances to the DPC public gathering scheduled for today (Monday) at Aabpara Chowk, Islamabad.

The meeting was called to plan a strategy for a sit-in in Islamabad to protest the resumption of NATO supplies.

Samiul Haq said the government had reopened the NATO supply under pressure from the US, adding that they would not allow the government to resume the supply. He also demanded that the defence minister resign for “allowing NATO supplies through Pakistan”.

The DPC chief condemned the ban on the entry of council's leaders Hafiz

Saeed Ahmad and Maulana Ahmad Ludhnianvi in Islamabad. “The ban would be challenged in court tomorrow (Monday),” he said.

Meanwhile, the government imposed a seven-day ban on DPC leaders – Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat chief Maulana Ahmed Ludhianvi and Dr Khadim Hussain Dhillon – from entering Islamabad. The move reportedly aimed at stopping these leaders from attending the DPC gathering.

Earlier, Interior Minister Rehman Malik had suspended the SHO of Margalla after police failed to stop the three leaders from making an appearance at a Miladun Nabi (PBUH) gathering in Islamabad.

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaquat Baloch, Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed, Ejazul Haq, Gen (r) Hameed Gul, Maulana Ameer Hamza, Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar Rupari and Abdul Rauf Farooqi also attended the meeting.

Yea! It cannot relevant to Balochistan cuz Balochistan is orginated B\w 3 nations and victim of different wars, now people of Hyderabad Deccan are interested in different activities too.. You know well about Deccan Mujahiddin and their outfits ..

If you claim that its don't represent the whole Hyderabad Deccan Then that logic is 100% athentic for Balochistan issue too. Still india want some engagement on this level and interfering in our internal matters then wat is new in it? Its their habit..

3 YEARS AGO NAWAB OF jUNAGARH CAME TO pakistan he did a press conference and he asked the govt. to give status of Kashmir to Junagarh too.He also said that PAKISTAN should go n UN with a resolution for Junagarh's freedom as PAKISTAN went into UN for occupied territory of KASHMIR( starting from rajouri to ladakh).
