Urgent help needed from Indian members

@BDforever

it only points to the tragedy of indian socio-economics that none of the bangalore-resident pdf members can host your near-and-dear one's family and nor is the medical system free in india.

i only point to a simple fact, nothing vile about it.

other than the non-bangalore-resident @Cherokee who else has offered residence?? :)

I know this thread hurts your sentiments that many (even Sanghis that you hate) have provided help to BDforever....I know you would have preferred that not one ounce of help was given to BDforever so you could your relish your narrative in its full glory....but instead it was defeated quite strongly. But instead of accepting that, you have to attempt to distort the very nature of this thread....saying it is not enough blah blah.

Why dont you meet your words with actions and go to Bangalore and provide a residence and free health care for all visiting families from abroad....instead of sitting year after year figuring out some eternally distant "microprocessor" and political campaign (both of which will obviously fail).

Do something actually socialist with the obviously large elitist margins you have been born into rather than getting totally enshrouded in your own pitiful narrative and dreaming.

right... now that you have sated your anti-socialist inner nilgiri, can you tell me which member has offered residence other than cherokee?? and more importantly, why not??

Why dont you meet your words with actions and go to Bangalore and provide a residence and free health care for all visiting families from abroad

and how is that possible without changing the political system??

and why only for families from abroad, for indian citizens too the medical system should be free... why is money being spent on unnecessary weapons, among lot of other unnecessary stuff??

but why are people like rich capitalists like mukesh ambani not building nice residences for visiting "medical tourists"... see?? medical treatment is called "medical tourism", just another way of circulating capital... in fact, why are these hospitals not building the residences for foreigners but leaving them to struggle for hotel searches??

....instead of sitting year after year figuring out some eternally distant "microprocessor" and political campaign (both of which will obviously fail).

and this is how the fence-sitters and the anti-progressives in india have led to a situation where money and support is not available for real technological innovators nor are real political solutions adhered to, leading to india not having contributed technologically to the world in 68 years[1] nor has any political system come out of india that can be followed by the rest of humanity.

you mock my talk of microprocessor but do look my three month old detailed post[2] about the non-contributory nature of india's technological "education".

Do something actually socialist with the obviously large elitist margins you have been born into rather than getting totally enshrouded in your own pitiful narrative and dreaming.

how do you know i am a elitist??

do you know what it takes to reject the indian socio-economic system??

right... now that you have sated your anti-socialist inner nilgiri, can you tell me which member has offered residence other than cherokee?? and more importantly, why not??

You are telling me this is different from anywhere else in the world?

How many people would be willing to host a relative and family of an internet forum friend (of varying kinship)?

India (in a broad context) produced 1 out of a sample size of however many on this thread that live in Bangalore. Thats probably a lot more than most societies....socialist or not.

and how is that possible without changing the political system??

It's simple you go there and spend your funds till you run yourself into the ground....and realise quite personally the basic economic reality that socialism espouses.

and why only for families from abroad, for indian citizens too the medical system should be free... why is money being spent on unnecessary weapons, among lot of other unnecessary stuff??

Please expand it to cover however and whatever you want. No one is stopping you....its your money and time.

but why are people like rich capitalists like mukesh ambani not building nice residences for visiting "medical tourists"... see?? medical treatment is called "medical tourism", just another way of circulating capital... in fact, why are these hospitals not building the residences for foreigners but leaving them to struggle for hotel searches??

People own the assets they generate and have full decision over what they do with it.

It is a basic demand and supply issue as to the "why". Everyone has the freedom to decide his/her priorities with the assets they own.

If you want people to be 100% altruistic, please lead by example....rather than complaining about how others aren't...when you aren't to begin with.

and this is how the fence-sitters and the anti-progressives in india have led to a situation where money and support is not available for real technological innovators nor are real political solutions adhered to, leading to india not having contributed technologically to the world in 68 years[1] nor has any political system come out of india that can be followed by the rest of humanity.

Yah we get it, you failed, continue to fail and will always fail and you have to bring everyone down with you as well.

The trumpet call of the Socialists especially since the late 80s. Their political space continues to collapse in the few remaining bastions:

Venezuela election: Maduro's Socialists trounced - BBC News

This is the theme song for Socialist countries since the late 80s:

Socialism is all: ....the rest of us are all

India failed specifically because of its experimentation with Socialism and failure to address its basic education.....not because of giving reality checks to lazy elitist dreamers.

The premiums for highest, most visible RnD come when a society is educated enough and has enough margins....but for too long post independence India purposely kept itself stunted economically chasing the Socialist doctrine so of course it is going to in catch up phase for at least another generation.

India is going to focus maximizing productivity regarding proven established technology and innovate and research what it can from what margins it can produce (yes it does happen as much as you want to believe otherwise....but there is no point trying to convince you)....while striving to get to an economic base per person where higher end RnD can be achieved and successfully harnessed and materialised in the long run.

That is how every productive society in the world today has done....and was the key difference between West and East Germany (both had the same initial starting conditions but one followed a productive "capitalist" model by default whereas the other was a socialist one by default).

The burden of proof must ALWAYS be stringently shown for non-productive investment (subsidies, doles, welfare spending etc)... not the other way around (for productive investment like it is the case with Socialism). That is the basic economic reality of the world....and it gets proven more and more with each passing year.

you mock my talk of microprocessor but do look my three month old detailed post[2] about the non-contributory nature of india's technological "education".

India has to focus on getting the basics of production related engineering before focusing too much on innovation.

From jugaad, natural mercantilism and business acumen of Indians, we do not have to worry about that side following once enough economic margins are produced in India....and we are already seeing the start and major expansion of it. The future looks promising.

Besides it will definitely not come from any Socialist doctrine. What exact ground breaking technology did your Gadafi Libya produce?

how do you know i am a elitist??

Lets say its a gut feeling I have. I remember one thread argument you had with @Rain Man where this impression definitely came off you. Socialist doctrine at its very core is extremely elitist....because it assumes an ideal society where everyone is going to sudden his/her personal margins for an overall larger good....expecting everyone wants to do that naturally, that such a larger good can be measured and actually tangibly can be optimized relative to other goals...and that those involved in the fruition of this cannot be questioned by the masses....that they should have no burden of proof to explain but just be accepted prima facie.

do you know what it takes to reject the indian socio-economic system??

Certainly not derailing a thread that was genuinely helping an individual with travel plans and stay for close ones.... in an effort to prove some political moral high ground.

You internet dreaming socialists all too often end up demeaning yourselves by all this idealist nonsense and snobby hypocritical attitude.

Go be the change you want in the world rather than preaching about it sitting in your room and effectively doing nothing (but long winded hot air plans).

what might be reasonable hotel cost of a single bed room where couple can sleep ? where the hospital and restaurant will be near by

There are many small hotels and lodges near that hospital, you won't find them in internet. Even Narayana Hrudalaya can suggest you some accommodations. Below are some other options:

Check 207 Hotels Bangalore, Budget Hotels Tariff @ Rs.899 – OYO Rooms use the 'filter' and 'sort' features. OYO Rooms are generally cheaper with reasonably good service.

Or check these:

yes, Devi shetty is celebrity here, almost everybody who are associated with heart patient knows him lol
@Nilgiri dada which Airliner will be economical and good, what is the cost from Kolkata to Bangalore ? he does not want to travel long distance for long with baby.

For airlines check these:

Cleartrip | Flights, Hotels, Packages, Buses, Trains

MakeMyTrip, India's No 1 Travel Site | Book Flights, Hotels, Holiday Packages & Bus Tickets

Flight, Cheap Air Tickets , Hotels, Holiday, Trains Package Booking - Yatra.com

Jet airways is right now the premium service, followed by Indigo, then others are there.

For trains, check IRCTC Next Generation eTicketing System , and for bus check redBus : Online Bus Ticket Booking, Book Volvo AC Bus Tickets, Reservation , just in case.

Narayana Hrudalaya is a fine hospital, the baby will receive very good medical service for sure. And you can expect reasonable medical bills, they are not cheats like many other expensive corporate hospitals. Btw, Devi Shetty has also founded Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences (RTIICS) in Kolkata, but Narayana Hrudalaya is better.

Good luck, he will be fine. :)

Btw, you didn't ask me. :(

Regarding medical system, there are some govt. programs which provide free services in my state like ArogyaSri where the white ration card holders can get corporate medical services free of cost.

I live in a pg in Bangalore.

i wasn't talking about members refusing but about the general socio-economic structure in india.

i don't know what is "white ration card", so after your ban ends you should write about that and the "arogyasri" program of the siddharamaiah government i presume.

Bangalore has good bus service, and if you want taxi then you can also try app-based taxi services like Ola and Uber, just download the mobile app and you are good to go.

Uber - Bangalore

Ola cabs Fare in bangalore | Taxi fare in bangalore | Cabs Fare Calculator in bangalore

Ola seems to be expensive in Bangalore. :(

facebook is blocked here for indefinite time by government

Then how do you access facebook in Bangladesh? :buba_phone:
