Turkiye will totally change the rules of game in region: TF-X MMU Stealth Fighter

Have you seen how KSA has been forced to admit what fact is after denying for 18 days? To some people facts are never facts until they get something out of it.

Can you give me the link of original indonesian article ? The men in charge with KFX and Su 35 right now is Wiranto which said nothing about SU 35 acquisition on Friday meeting (the meeting discussed both KFX and Su 35). He also said, previously, he doesnt want Indonesia to get US sanction due to SU 35 procurement.

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs) Wiranto said the government could not yet ascertain to buy 11 main defense system (Alutsista) equipment in the form of Sukhoi SU 35 fighter aircraft from Russia.

He said the government was still waiting for the United States to release the threat of sanctions against countries that want to buy defense equipment from Russia.

"So we wait, the sanctions are still general, there are also statements that it is very possible [to be released]," Wiranto said when met at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Politics and Security, Jakarta, Friday (3/8).

KSA has already admitted that a murder took place, wake up from your hallucinations!

The Su-57 has been rejected by Indian air force for non-performance

The UK has no stealth fighter jet experience too .... and if BAE Systems is gone , then Turkey will find new partner to develop TF-X and in 10-12 years Turkey and Russia can develop TF-X 5th gen stealth Fighter Jet

and I am not talking about SU-57 .......... Russia can support Turkey for TF- X program

-- Turkish electronics, avionics and weapons
-- Turkey in stealth technology
-- TAI design and integration with Russian support
-- Russian support for supercruise capability ... ( Turkey needs only supercruise technology to design TF-X to cruise at supersonic speed with afterburners enabled ....
and dog fight at speed of mach 1,4 ... F-16 can not do it but F-35 can do it
-- and New Engine with Russian support .. ( even TEI said that we can develop turbofan engine for TF-X in 15 years )

UK has plenty of stealth technology.

It is the only Tier-1 partner for F-35 project.
Been developing the Taranis stalth UAV since 2010
Also launched it's own stealth fighter project this summer.

The UK is probably at around the same level as China in stealth know-how.

even Turkey can develop stealth UCAV similar to TARANIS
and We need BAE Systems for only supercruise capability ... ( supercruise technology to design TF-X to cruise at supersonic speed with afterburners enabled )

Turkey can use foreign engine and can develop indigenous engine in 15 years
as like Turkey used foreign engine for T-129 in 2014 and indigenous turboshaft engine will be ready until 2024

Britain is one of the premier powers in aerospace technology.
BAe systems has a massive presence in USA

developing a jet engine is not an easy endeavour. good luck

Russia will not support Turkey in the TFX program. At the end of the day you are a NATO member.

Yes its true , therefore Turkey is working on TF-X with BAE Systems

developing a Turboshaft engine also is not an easy endeavour .. but Turkish TEI TS-1400 Turboshaft gas turbine engine will be ready until 2024 for T-129 Attack Helicopter and T-625 Utility Helicopter ... only the US,the UK,Russia-Ukraine,France,Turkey,Japan and China in the world ... ( even China took Turboshaft engine technology from France )

sooner or later Turkey will develop also turbofan engine and TEI said that we can develop turbofan engine for TF-X in 15 years

I remind you , Russia sold most lethal Air Defense System S400 to NATO member Turkey
and Russia is ready for another military projects with Turkey

selling the S-400 system without ToT is one thing
transfering technology for engine which can be used in any aircraft project is another thing

Who says that without ToT ? Turkey and Russia will sing another S400 deal in 2019 or 2020
and S400 deal will help Turkey to develop HISAR-U high altitude air defense system

and I am saying again sooner or later Turkey will develop also turbofan engine without ToT

  • GE F110 turbofan engine selected for TF-X MMU prototypes. Seven fighter prototypes will be produced for extensive trial phase.
  • TrMotor develop a national turbofan engine for serial production of fighter. National turbofan engine is open to international cooperations.

Pentagon wants the project gone have no doubt about it. There are other factors that prevent Pentagon from exercising that option. If only Pentagon could always have its way Erdogan wouldn't be alive today. Even super powers have limitations and Turkey knows it.
Indeed as they also wanted jf17 gone.

very logical step indeed, if they reject to supply new engines, TR can use F16 engines for prototypes. maybe TR Motor-tei refurbish old ones and put them on TFX.

GE's engine business has a high level of coordination and standardization experience in Turkey. One of the facilities where the F110-GE-100 engines was manufactured under license in TEI. Turkey is currently one of the world's most important F110 user. The most logical approach in terms of logistics. However, due to political risks, the agreement was not signed until certain guarantees were made.

I am almost sure that TF-X will use F110-GE-129 engines which has a thrust of 290000lbf. That is a perfect thrust rate which is satisfying the requirements of Turkish Air Force (27000+lbf).

Hürjet-C fighter: GE F404 (17000lbf)
TF-X fighter: GE F110(29000lbf)
