Europeans are bluffing. Delaying a visit here and there is just a delay tactic. The Europeans are going to come running back to the negotiating table. If the Europeans were serious they would cut ties.

Turkey has the EU by its balls and that is no exaggeration. Turkey could throw the refugee deal in the trash can and walk away unharmed. Not only that, Turkey could show the Europeans a middle finger and halt refugee camps. The Europeans are providing money to build refugee camps inside Turkey. Turkey is burdened with taking care of Syrian, Afghan and other refugees fleeing towards Europe. Turkey could just open the gates and we know what would happen next.

Turkish economy is in European hands.Literally.

With EU at odds with Russia and Trump's White house, time for Turkey to strike. Expand to non-EU Balkans. Washington will be happy to see 3-way tug of war with Turks in the Balkans, Russians in the East and German-French alliance all trying to dominate EU. Opportunity lies to take the great game to the next phase.
