Turkish Missile Programs

. . . . .
Rpg can be use up to 1000 meter ammunition.. there is a optical sight for 1000 meter also.

İt is about ammunition.. some rpg rockets(grenade ap) can go to 200 meters, some (ordinary anti-tank ones) go to 500 meters. Some of them (tandem headed anti-tank) go to 350 meters, some ones (termobarics) 400 meters.. and some new rockets even go to 1000 meters..

Ps; 1000 meter optics, and heavier rocket requires bipod. Because of the heaviness and to make still the opticals...

It is not guided but mix of reciless rifle and a rocket launcer. And can be carried by one person..And it works in the field.

Brazil just did their first test of their national anti-ship missile: https://www.naval.com.br/blog/2018/11/29/primeiro-lancamento-do-missil-antinavio-mansup/

For comparison, it's the same weight and speed as Atmaca, but its range is 70km compared with Atmaca's 250km.

I've tried to read it through with google translate and from what I've gathered they're using their own second gen engine with this. While with these specs the engine looks to be somewhat subpar when compared with alternatives it's still a huge accomplishment to use ones own engine with such products.

ATMACA still uses a modified French TR40, so even with better specs I'd still prefer their missile because I would get all the control I need for production and export (which is a huge deal with naval missiles IMO).

We're still waiting on the KALE 3500 which will propel ATMACA to be one of the best options in the world for it's class as it won't be prone to sanctions nor sale permissions from any western nation while still measuring up with the HARPOON.

The range is apparently the about the same as the Exocet MM40 Block 2 they currently use, so it's still an achievement for them. Btw Kale 3500 is already ready so this is not an issue.
