Trolling and hate?

in all honesty i don't troll but i receive hate from reactionary members - not limited to indians.

many people here are immature and cannot think beyond national boundaries and culture... pdf is a big and varied site but that has not educated many members to think beyond those items i mentioned.

You are troll for all the means of it. I see all of you more than ANYONE else on this forum and know exactly which is a troll and who isnt. You start your trolls and then have the guile to post hypocritical bull here about being an innocent responder.


When it says Senior, I would change that the forum team(TTAs, Professionals, Analysts etc). NO one else is deserving of respect until granted by this core group.



It has to be scorched earth. Any Indian or Pakistani, Arab or Persian.. seen pointlessly deriding, posting ridiculous comments will be warned without ado and banned permanently from that section. It doesn't matter who started it, the moderation team will end it.

Restrict various nationality members to their specific country defence, social, economic threads.

Only allow senior members with less than 10 negative ratings to move around to other country sections.

Yes that's correct. I see too many members that seem to make decent posts banned. The only reason I can think of is that they must have written something anti-Pakistani. The mods should not intervene on every little incident where a Pakistani member cries foul about a post. They must realize that a certain amount of bias does exist in them, so interventions should be kept to a minimum. I have not seen another forum where the mods throw their weight around as much as at PDF.

on the contrary, many indian members are unnecessarily allowed to use filthy words and make irrational posts and there will be five others at hand to thank those posts.

these particular members are of course the saffron type who escape action by mods sadly.

no international forum is as overrun by sanghis as pdf.

Look, I don't know about the filthy abuses that you are talking about because I am yet to see any such posts from Indians. Maybe some were made in response to abusive posts like @45'22' said above.

As for the presence of Sanghis here, you could be right that there may be many. I personally am neither a Sanghi or a Modi-Bhakt but respect my lawfully elected government as it represents my country, that's all.

I actually see many Indians here who seem genuinely interested in Pakistani affairs, which, as has rightly been pointed out by other Pakistanis here, is not the case with them. The only time they seem interested in India is to post the negative news items that they can get hold of to feel better about themselves.

An Indian mod would help. It is true that Indians are rated much more harshly than any other nationality on PDF.

Ultimately what draws traffic will be the quality of the debate and a feeling that it is "fair" and "factual". It should be possible to discuss uncomfortable facts in a sane, rational and respectful way.
