You need dominance on sea to use aircraft carriers. Nowadays it is only effective against third world countries. For Turkey a carrier doesn’t have a use. It is already surrounded by sea.

It really depends on the application at hand. For example, in littorial theaters close to land bases, surface clutter, dead zones etc, a ship like this is simply a big target.

Out in the open sea though, as the leader of a task-force, surrounded by MILGEM and TF-2000 escorts, the naval aviation wing it carries is a huge force multiplier. And would boost Turkeys' force projection considerably.
