I believe you are a senior member. There was once a moderation which would confine troll posts to one thread. India rape or toilets discussion were to be posted to one thread. Can you honestly seen pdf forum page without a rape thread lately? People on here discuss about Indians as if we are all only doing rapes all day. These people pick one article and generalise it to 1.3 billion people. Moderation allows it. You attract trolls with such moderation.

I wish we go back to the PDF of 2005-10. I was young then, like the other poster @Osiris said I used to envy the discussion, in awe of some of the posts, wondering if ever in my lifetime I could convey my thoughts with such grace. Moderation was rule based and strict. No abuses.

Today I wish, none of the young ones should ever join this forum which only breeds hate.

These are strange and interesting times.

Although the guidelines need updates & can be vague for many....their interpretation can also be diverse, but I find that the members are given too much freedom...Trolls including from Pakistan are not dealt properly. Slowly, the replies in threads have degraded and rather then discussing the topic objectively, the members want to make fun and show domination.
For me, PDF is a place to learn, discuss and exchange knowledge. It has now become just a source of entertainment and enjoyment.

To the OP, did you exercise all of your options before bringing your reservation public? As pointed out by others, their is GHQ and you can also email Admin...I guess its a new trend that anyone can open a thread and propagandize knowing that some will support them no matter if there were valid reasons the moderation team took specific actions...

Anyway, now that preliminary discussion has taken place and the opinions of many members heard, I suggest the thread be locked until the admins look into the matter...

Mods do a tough job keeping the Indian infestation under control, my complaint is they are too lenient.

i think mods should allow every poster to speak and they should warn people who do racism or abuse or making fun of religion.ban all types of sectarian discussion.ban any indian or pakistani who discuss religion.ban everything that is sensitive and allow everyone to speak.international community have the right to criticize pakistan.this is basic right.senior people leaving means no charm left.this guy is a senior member.i have seen many other senior members who don't comment because they feel that they will be insulted.there must be rules.obviously making fun of pakistan isn't allowed but we should take criticism in a positive way.i think making fun of anyone should not be allowed.give warnings,take actions and mods can also open threads and discuss matters related to ban or warnings.we are a community and we must handle this forum in the right way.already too much terrorism in our country and too poverty.we should give chance to everyone to speak.

All of the threads created by people on here to demonize mods are usually from Indians or left wing supporters. You can see the pattern. All the likes are from indian posters or indian posters masquerading as different nationals.

It is nice to kick these sub human indians out. Where ever they go , they bring down the quality of the website. Just look at Quora. Completely fucked up.

Most Indians are overly sensitive , ignorant and have propensity to pollute non-indian environment. Just like $h*T , they are way too many in numbers and hence not that important. I bet if you ban 10 indian accounts today ,20 new indian accounts will be created tomorrow. Their infestation knows no bound and just like pesticides , most are garbage.

When logic and reasoning fails personal attacks begin. Posters who can't win an argument do not have the courage to accept others reasoning.

Look, I'm well aware there is going to be no tear shed over this; several may celebrate too. It has become obvious I have overstayed my welcome at nearly 5 years.

I miss the old PDF. It was known to appreciate civil debate to promote a respectful alternate point of view. The Moderator culture was one of encouraging diverse, challenging opinions. But in the last eight months, these forums have taken a very hard turn from what it used to be when @WebMaster was active here. People are now banned for no reason or made-up reasons and even for just having an alternate point of view. There is no longer the old practice of warning, pointing to a post for infractions and giving some explanation. It's all done quietly now; one does know which mod issued it any longer.

The tone got really ugly, real quick here: On a daily basis, a majority of the posts by members have turned ugly in its tone. Posts have alarming language- high instances of abusive, bigotry, and most surprisingly low tolerance of people of other faiths. There is just a lot of hate speech and seemingly freely permitted now.

I'm tired of the threats coming from some Moderators. Today- I got one thread deleted, which was about how Chinese women are checking for the gender of the baby in the womb (no idea why that was controversial, requiring deletion).
Then noticed some quiet infractions added on my profile (no notifications sent to me) after WAZ threatened me in a second thread I posted/started here -(https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/the-netherlands-luck-is-running-out.643622/#post-11902331).

Moderator Waz's actions, as you can see below in the screenshot I provided, went with an incorrectly assumed infraction, added it multiple times to help stack points against me. I have never faked my account; I have always maintained my background from the very first day I signed up years ago. I and many others are no longer being judged by the content of our replies, which was the practice here, but now on conspiracies behind our motives, and for having alternative views.

When I first joined, I had mentioned that I spent decades at the state department. Specifically, in the AF-PAK region, including India. That I visited Pakistan several times, India several times, a couple of visits to Afghanistan, and was considered a leading expert on my team for this theater.

This had made me a target when I began to add my opinions to countries in this region. I was taunted by some of being Indian, Isreali, and even a Bangladeshi citizen, at times. Yet, I was not bothered by it, because the moderator class was most always fair-minded and allowed the content of the posts to the ultimate judge on one's continued membership here. After all, even if you suspect citizenry, why care about one's flag, when discussing, debating policy and events.

Frankly, I'm sad to leave. I don't why being an echo chamber of the same views is the new direction here. In so many ways, this place is so unique and exhilarating to engage. I hope it course corrects itself sooner than later. Thank you.

Moderation has become uneven. I mean some guys are free to whatever pleases them, and other cant even make a comment. The special relations of moderators and posters has ruined the whole fabric of forum.
I say, if there are rules, then they should be implemented on all, not only on particular guys.

Unfortunately, some folks are not able to see through the malicious intent of indian posters. After 27th Feb and 370, Indian trollers were gagged in large numbers. This led to realization that Indian bull-shittery won't be tolerated anymore and the nature of relationship has completely changed.
Indians then tried to be clever. They started posting again but used flags of foreign countries. However, just like their failed disinformation campaign( EU DISINFO) , they were again caught because after all , people who are experienced with dealing gangu filth have trained themselves to spot party poopers.

Now , these very same posters have employed a new tactic. They( Indian) posters are creating threads every week to demonize mods. Of course , some Pakistani posters also join their voices because of some personal vendetta against the mods / previous unpleasant history / previous bans and etc. Just look at the likes and supporters. It is always the same pattern.

Also , they will use catchy statements , " oh the mods are biased , " oh the forum quality has gone down " , " oh this forum won't allow differing voices ( what they mean is Indian voices ) " ----- > always masking their true intentions with palatable statements.

Btw , I would suggest Pakistani members to not show sympathy towards Indians. Just remember what they are doing in Kashmir. Also , read hardline Hindu websites/forums. You can ask for links in PM. Also , try to learn Hindi. It will help you understanding Hindu mindset.
Hindi is not that difficult to learn and understand. I was able to understand it after 4 months of practice.

Indians are far more disgusting than I previously thought. The english speaking Indians are actually clever in hiding their intentions and can play with words to mask their outright hatred. Hindi users don't do that. The opinions they hold against Kashmiris , Muslim women , Islam , Pakistanis are very revolting and if I tell you about them. You would most likely nuke whole ganga land.

indians ARE the eternal forever enemies of the Pakistani race and nation, thus will be treated as such. indian kind will NOT HAVE a free reign to insult Pakistan, Pakistanis, Islam, our race, culture and heritage like they did between 2005-10, on PDF. Not many Indian anymore in PDF, even @Levina is also banned. In order to make PDF an international forum, PDF should not too harsh on Indian. Rather than intensifying the conflict, PDF can be a place where Pakistani and Indian can get along each other, thus will become positive platform to create peace between two rival nation. Even @Zarvan miss the old PDF where we can see many Indian hanging around.

Many Arab members are also left. The members that I see growing is Indonesian, Iranian, and Turkish. This site actually has so many potential to bring other nation members so it can become more international but in order to do so we need more freedom of speech in term of different point of view, only insult and fake news that should not be tolerated.

It's because of you this forum has gone to dogs. This weak conviction is shared by many. Hopefully you'll be retired from moderation. And pdf is saved from insecure moderation that has taken it hostage lately.

Because indian forums are so wonderful and unbiased, fair and good.............. .if you don't like it on PDF then you are free to go. Nobody is forcing you to stay here........

Quality of a forum is dependent upon the collective analytical skills/posts of the members, while I understand the reasons for nostalgia with old PDF it also tends to point in the direction that the quality of the members/poster and posts too have gone down.

Recently while going through one of my archived data I found out that I used to have an account on old forum probably deleted, saved few posts from that era and there were few gentlemen who took a distinct pleasure in abusing every one who differed from their POV, blatant abuses.

I have not been back on this forum for long again and find some of the "victims" have pretty flexible morality when they abuse someone then "its a forum for freedom of speech" but when the scale favors the counter party the mods become "too lenient"

As for the indians and bangladeshis after initial distaste of interacting with them on this forum I made up this particular signature, most of them are disgusting hateful people. They have every justification to hate everything about us, our country and yet they find the moral courage to remain here (beghariti) is more like it.

Mods are more like staff and they toe the official policy, if we don't like the mods or the board we could just leave the board not visit it again, if someone continues to whine it is more like an attention seeking syndrome. If we dont like the views of someone continuously we have the option of choosing to "ignore" the person. We are members here not the staff and this is not an assembly or a democratic institution, we should either choose to respect the staff decision, raise our concerns in the GHQ if we don't agree with something or just walk away.
