Well an appropriate meassure to protect civilians who may not have intentions to commit violence, it is time we focus on developing a strategy along the lines of Zarb-e-Azab, but this time on Afghanistan directly and take control of the hunting down of Rouge "ELEMENTS".

To be honest, no-one told Pakistan to keep extending their stay year after year. Just because Gen. Zia, Pakistan, wanted to be the center of attention is not anyone's fault.

Refugee status is permitted if there is fear that the native government would interfere with an individual's right to life. Collateral damage isn't recognized.

Refugees are allowed human rights (education/food/safety/healthcare), but are held as non-nationals in many aspects (housing/employment/movement).

We have been hearing about so much successful Zab-e-Azb for almost three-four years now. How good are the supposed end results if you only end up handing Afghans the list of 76 most wanted terrorists? The terrorists just shifted from one safe heaven (FATA) to another (Afghanistan). Their infrastructure is still active as they can live and plan with comfort to continue their reign of terror. How good has this done the nation?

We need to make these tough choices now.
1-Will we allow the extremists to integrate in our society which would relieve the pain now but will ultimately make the problem perpetual which cost spread over distant future?
2-Or we will take the infrastructure head on now, it will cause thousands of deaths now, may be thousands into thousands now as we take on countless lal-masjids and bring back the state's control on religion alongwith dismantling the infrastructure aiding and abetting the private jihad?
3-Will we have take the courage to hit the terrorists in their hideouts on afghan soil? Would we dare risking a direct conflict with US to make our land safe and secure? What made US successfully dismantle AQ? The very fact that they kept Osama on the run always and never allowed him to regain the control of AQ infrastructure. They hit em everywhere he went. They made his life miserable and never allowed him to move beyond thought of survival.
