BTW do you have any plan to visit Pakistan, if yes so please share it I really wish to be your host......
I prefer traditional (five spices) karhai with naan or taftaan instead of rice.
Love paya but never tried to cook it myself. I like dishes which are ready to serve in 1-2 hours but paya takes almost all night.
Mutton stew is great but I prefer dopiaza with lots and lots of onions with little dahi on the side
I make shahi tukra's as breakfast sometimes when I'm having loges for the weekend, not a big eater of sweet stuff myslef though.
Never cooked gur ka paratha and as a matter of fact I only had it once when I visited my cousins farm near Nawabshah. We had gur ka paratha, sliced mango, butter and fresh lassi for lunch...it was too heavy for me to digest...I became ill. I believe we NRP's aren't used to these 'heavy' dishes.
Love almost all kind of saag and sabzi and cook it with musterd oil only. I can't stand the smell of asli ghee...
Chapli kebab, gola kebab and sajjhi...well they're almost national dishes for average pathan.
