The Royal Moroccan Army is a quantum leap in armaments

Morocco plans to acquire the "Spider" air defense system
16223095540-678x381.jpeg

According to news reports, the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces entered into negotiations with the Israeli defense company “Rafael” to acquire the advanced Israeli air defense system “Spider”.

This system is characterized by the fact that it includes two types of surface-to-air missiles, namely “Python 4” and “Derby”, in addition to its ability to confront various types of aircraft, including manned and unmanned aircraft, as well as helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The system has the ability to intercept precision-guided munitions at short and low to medium altitudes, in addition to its ability to defend against chemical and biological threats.

This comes within the framework of strengthening military cooperation between Israel and Morocco since the normalization of relations between the two countries, as Israeli military observers participated in the “African Lion 2022” military exercises in Morocco, and the Israeli Minister of Defense signed a memorandum of understanding in Rabat to regulate security relations with Morocco.

The agreement also included cooperation between the intelligence agencies, the development of military industries, the purchase of weapons and joint training.

The SPIDER defense system is used by many countries around the world and is among the most effective air defense systems.

It seems that the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces are currently studying the opportunity to acquire this system to enhance its defense capabilities.

When a business man becomes a king with no clue about geo-politics, such betrayals become inevitable.

Morocco has gone full retard.

The Spanish army is afraid of the Israeli military technology that Morocco has acquired

The relationship between Morocco and Israel raises concerns among the Spanish military, diplomats and analysts. According to them, the military reinforcement of Rabat will destabilize the “status quo” in the western Mediterranean.

An official military source told the Spanish newspaper El Confidencial that Morocco's acquisition of Israeli military technology threatens Spain's strategic interests.

Spanish diplomats and analysts share a sense of unease, but it has spilled over into national public opinion. According to the newspaper, this Moroccan-Israeli relationship could upset the balance in the western Mediterranean.

She said the Abraham Accords paved the way between the two governments to accelerate their trade and political relations by signing cooperation agreements in multiple fields, from culture to tourism, including strategic industries such as agriculture, renewable energy or water management. In addition to strengthening military relations.

The head of the Israeli army, General Aviv Kochavi, visited Morocco in July 2021 to discuss “knowledge exchange, training, joint exercises, military equipment development, experience transfer, and possibly weapons as well.” A few months later, in November, Defense Ministers Benny Gantz and Abdellatif Lodiye signed a landmark agreement in Rabat on security, intelligence and military equipment sales. "It is very important and will allow us to exchange ideas, implement joint projects and export Israeli military materials to Morocco," Gantz told reporters.

The military component of this alliance is very important because it goes beyond weapons, there is a willingness to share experiences and a deeper commitment to military cooperation. Morocco's access to Israeli technology, especially drones, allows the army, which is actively seeking to improve its capabilities, to take a quantum leap,” Intisar Fekir, a specialist in North Africa, the Sahel and the Middle East, told El Confidencial.

And she said, "Israel allows Morocco to modernize its military arsenal faster and stronger. I do not understand why the government does not do anything. Israel's entry into the Moroccan military field is a worrying sign for us, and Morocco is also taking advantage of these military relations to strengthen pressure on Spain."

She added: “Other soldiers consulted have expressed the same phrases, fearing that the war in Ukraine will make Europe and NATO ignore the southern flank (Morocco). They (Spanish military) insist that it is not just a question of firepower, but of great deterrence and how that affects political calculations if we find ourselves in a situation of potential conflict (with Morocco).

It is noteworthy that Morocco concluded a set of qualitative deals with Israel to enhance Moroccan deterrence capabilities, after the threats to the country from parties in the region. Perhaps the most prominent result of these deals is the transfer of the technology of some important weapons that had a major role in tipping the balance of those who own them in the wars, especially in Karabakh, such as the IAI Harop suicide drones with a very large range (up to 1000 km).

Spain doesn't have much to worry about. Morocco knows an attack on Spain means NATO will intervene. As good as Israeli weapons are, NATO will overpower Morocco.

You want them to buy inferior Iranian weapons?
Yeah the same garbages that fuked you up in South of Lebanon. Hezbollah soldiers shot your sissies in their asses when they packed their bags to escape the conflict zone

Nato can’t stand with Spain in a colonial war. Nato is about defense of home territories, not off - shore colonies. Morocco invading Ceuta and Melilla would be technically not even be an assault on Spain. Spain settling there illegally is an assault on Morocco. I believe Nato also has a moral threshold that it can’t go below , would lose all credibility otherwise.

Actually, Spain could invoke Article 5, since this territory is north of the Tropic of Cancer.
In the case of Falklands for example, the UK couldn't invoke Article 5 because it was south of the Tropic of Cancer.

In a real realistic situation :
Loose Ceuta and Melilla? Yeah
Loose Canary Islands ? No
Why ? Because Canary Islands are under the umbrella of NATO but Ceuta and Melilla aren’t.

After the Israeli company Elbit officially revealed the export of PULS long-range missile launchers to Morocco with the Combat-NG system, take a look at the specifications of the tactical ballistic missile." Predator Hawk " that comes with the launcher weapon.

1576073150_vashi.jpg

The Multi-Purpose Launcher features two Pods (PODS); Each pod is designed for a specific type of missile: Accular 122 mm (18 missiles) with a range of up to 35 km, Accular 160 mm (10 missiles) with a range of up to 40 km, EXTRA (4 missiles) with a range of up to 150 km , and Predator Hawk (two missiles) with a range of up to 300 km. The system can neutralize selected targets accurately and effectively at all ranges.

PULS™ is designed to maximize responsiveness with optimal firing flexibility, without the need for special modifications to the system. A typical shooter mission can be executed in less than 1 minute from the start. The PULS™ system is fully adaptable to existing platforms, enabling a significant reduction in the maintenance and training costs that would be necessary for a new vehicle platform. The launcher was specifically designed to fill the gaps between all artillery modules: means of fire, sensors and C4I.

One of the most important reasons for choosing this launcher is the Predator Hawk tactical ballistic missile with a range of 300 km. The Predator Hawk is designed to attack and destroy targets of paramount importance within the depth of the enemy and is effective against a wide range of high-value targets (command and communications centers, logistics facilities, transportation infrastructure, command and control headquarters, air defense sites, electronic warfare sites, radar sites, strategic sites etc...

1920X1070-Predator-Hawk.jpg

The missile can hit targets from 50 to 300 km with high accuracy (10 meters CEP), regardless of weather conditions. The supersonic missile can hit a target 300 kilometers away in just about 8 minutes, making the Predator Hawk the preferred solution for performing precision strikes deep into the enemy that were once the domain of the Air Force.

PULS™ as a coastal defense system
The PULS™ system can also be used as a coastal defense system, all you need is a maritime patrol aircraft, a marine radar, a link 16 system, and of course PULS™. This would be a coastal defense system with a range of 300 km, known as CIDS.

Israel tells the US which aircraft they are allowed to sell in MENA, and what level of avionics are allowed to be fitted. FYI
Immediately after his successful visit to the State of Israel, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the American Armed Forces, arrived in Rabat on an unannounced visit, while the visit program is not known until now.

In Rabat, Milley affirmed that Morocco is “a great partner and ally of the United States,” and a very stable country in a continent and region that needs stability.

It is not in the best interest of Morocco to go to war against Spain in the times being..to the contrary, peace is very beneficial for both..But getting deterrence weapons is a must for every sovereign country that wants peace and prosperity..

No one should be surprised if Usrael hands a dozen nukes to Morocco in that regard.. there were news not long ago that they were cooperating in peaceful nuclear technologies..Already..

Morocco received and commissioned the first Barak MX anti-missile systems capable of shooting down any aircraft or missile within a range of 150 kilometers. The system is manufactured by the Israeli company IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries). The same company, will provide these same systems for the European anti-missile shield project, which is being promoted by Germany

Morocco deployed the anti-missile shield that can detect a plane 470 kilometers away ..and shoot it down from 150 km.
