What's new

The Chinese Bayraktar

Hermes 900 is much smaller than the MQ9, easily distinguishable from it by the exhaust, head, wing span, length, height, optics placement etc.

Meanwhile the Chinese drone looks like a literal copy.

So Hermes 900 is not a copy of MQ9 because it's smaller, I see . How would you know that CETC drone has the same size as bayraktar?

What did Israel copy? Israel is a pioneer at UAV technology.

Pioneer?Germany started to use UAVs back in WWII

Like I am really stoked to see bat shit crazy people
And you depend on so called batshit crazy people for JF-17 ,VT-4 tank and other naval project. Does that makes u worst than batshit? :enjoy:

You shall use your brain more before u make another reply that humiliate yourself. We China can land rovers on Mars or independently build a permanent space station in space.

Do a science technology feat better than China before u want to talk us down again...

China's UAV technology is more than 10 years ahead of Turkey!

The Russians made similar boasts in the past but it all unraveled in Ukraine. And now they're stealing washing machines for chips to power their weapons. Come back and boast about your technology when it's used in anger against a near peer adversary.

And China can a land working rovers on Mars which Russian can't. We are not the same level as Russian. Your analogy failed...

Not quite, you can't export a copied design not without paying the necessary royalties to the firm that first designed the drone, Well you can but then you expose yourself to all kinds of legal issues. Copying the design saves thousands of hours of engineering effort and the added cost of wind tunnel tests. The Chinese are then able to sell a Bayraktar copy at a fraction of the cost of the original. So it's just unfair to the business that came up with the original design. If everyone followed this model it would very quickly kill innovation. The Chinese can easily come up an original design but they deliberately choose to take a short cut to make more profits.

Unless it's patented,I don't see how it's a legal issues. There is a lot of new stealth fighter designs coming from different countries, look alot like copies of F-22,do they all pay royalties to the US?

Let's respect the facts.

1. Russia has no UAV technology.

2. Civil UAV: China's DJI occupies 70% of the global market.

3. China's AVIC Dark Sword UAV can shoot down all UAVs in Turkey. China's GJ11 can really bomb Ankara.

4. UAVs in China have never been independent products. It relies on the technical support of China's complete industrial chain. Including China's Beidou navigation system.

5。 Türkiye still needs Chinese technology. isn't it?

Is that a cope

Just like stealth fighter. The concept was invented by Soviet scientist Pyotr Ufimtsev, but materialized by Americans

try again, Ufimtsev postulated a 'theory' of edge diffraction while Erdal Arikan invented coding and decoding techniques for efficient noiseless transmission of large volumes of data. In lay person speak, Ufimtsev theorised something was possible while Arikan invented the means to achieve the end result.

Slumdog pariahs say that others are copying before. Ask yourself what you can make first? Even backward countries like turkey are stronger than your slums.

China's DJI occupies 70% of the global market. China's GJ-11 is enough to bomb Ankara. That's not true?

lol, what is so special about the Turky drone that Chinese needs to copy? Inverted V-tail twin boom? Maybe Turkey copied from Vietnam in the first place. :partay:

Or from NASA:
