Like comparison between apples and oranges. All absolute affirmations such as Type-003 better than Ford or Ford better than Type-003 is not realistic

After extensive testing the PLAN will probably build the Type 004 to match or exceed the Ford, especially in sortie generation and possibly in number of Fighter/Attack Aircraft carried. 4 catapults and 3 large elevators plus multiple smaller elevators for ammo (for safety) as well as future weapons (possibly lasers) will probably require the Type 004 to be Nuclear powered and 100,000+ tons, similar to how the Ford matches these parameters.

Even if China only operates half the number of these CVNs and a dozen Type 076 carriers, near its home shores it may hold an advantage against a combined US+NATO+Japan+South Korean force.

Although that may take 20-25 years to achieve.

That seems unlikely considering its dimensions are slightly smaller than Gerald Ford class with 1 less catapult and elevator. It's not the first time CCAV messed up their reporting.
