Textbook sparks row over mosque depicted as noise pollutant

HUUUUUUUUUUUUUH?

Never been to Gurudwara or a temple? They start blaring the loud speaker whenever they want and it is especially noisy during major festivals.

Mind you Azaan is very brief in the morning. I lived in Hyderabad once and a mosque near my house used to do morning Azaan. When I used to be awake at that time, for me it meant day has arrived and I should sleep!
When I was asleep, I never even noticed that. But anyways! Try living near a Jaagran in Nau-Durga near Diwali.
There are 4 mosques near my area and they time their azans one after another. On Ramazan their broadcast starts at 3:30 in the morning and goes on until after 6.

Idiotic conclusions deserve idiotic comparisons. Show me one mosque with saffron colored dome in India.
There is no idiotic conclusion here but idiotic comparisons Yes! It is another thing that people with jaundiced view find nothing wrong in.

Similar logic was presented by another poster. And this is the answer he got

Why should a dome have saffron colour and why does it bother you?

The noise from loudspeaker of mosque is the least when compared to those from temples. Shouldn't the kid be taught about those sources which are more harmful?
I would have agreed with you if you said kids should ALSO be taught about other sources too.

The picture shows a building which you call mosque, but have saffron colored domes. Make your conclusion.

I would have agreed with you if the kids were shown pictorial form of loudspeakers from temples ALONG with mosques. But that is not the case here.

You may find saffron colour domes on mosques but you don't find domes on temples. Make your conclusion:coffee:

Why temple? Why not a church? Isn't the guy pressing against his ears wearing western clothes? He is not a saffron clad sanghi, he is not wearing a khaki chaddi.

Sawan ke andhe ko sab hara dikhta hai miyan.....

Yes you will, there are numerous temples in India, where domes were built over the structure. However, I have never seen a saffron colored mosque

He could be anyone, a passerby could be a Sanghi chaddi, a man in a suit etc.

Sanghi ko thode cheezen dekhne me mushkil hoti hai... So I can't help you whether it is saawan or not.

Well, they are a source of noise pollution and cause great annoyance to non muslims.

Those domes nowhere resemble to a temple as depicted in the picture.

Saffron coloured dome for you

Eye check up karao miyaan, ye saffron color hai to golden temple bhi saffron dikhta hoga tumko.
Arey bhayyaji rangoli rangoli khelna hai?

How can you be so sure that the one on the picture is saffron? It could be similar looking colour.

How many temples do I see with a dome which are shaped/styled in muslim looking way?

Temples follow the Agama .... not the Vedas

LOL at your pretense to be a "hindu".

I have never heard of Temple's "Chanting" veda's. Vedas are chanted only in Vedic schools. :cheesy:
Really, I guess you are ignorant on your own traditions.

Or may be you don't know the traditions in South India.

I live in Guruvayoor since 20+ years, during the special pooja's sometimes temple speakers air the chantings. As far as my Brahmin friends are concerned that's vedic stances.
Any more LIES which I can expose ?
Yeah, I thought you are smart. But you exposed yourself here as an MSP:lol:.
Adios!

I never said it's a temple. And it can't be conclusively said if it's a mosque either, going by the dome colour. take the picture for the meaning, not the inferences you want to draw. Not everyone is a sanghi, nor is everyone out here to disrespect muslims. You played the victim card, you bought temple into the discussion. You are intolerant as well as communal, not me.

Sanghis and their witless excuses:hitwall:

It can be conclusively said it is a mosque because of the shape/style of dome. The picture easily depicts something which resembles a mosque dome. And a reputed news source backs my claim. Now you can deny as much as you want, it doesn't matter...

Why shouldn't I bring in a temple? Your fellow Sanghi poster states that there shouldn't be a issue if a picture of mosque is used hence I brought in Temple which produces much more noise when compared to mosques. If kids are to be taught about noise pollution, why not a temple and why only a mosque. You should go through the thread and then decide who is communal here.

Its a smaller noise pollutant. Your film industry is the biggest noise pollutant in India. Why not mention it.

I think seriously you are dumb. if you fall for all these. Was Osama ever in Pakistan. Do you really think Dawood is even alive. And terrorism is that related to any religion.
No, Osama was not in Pakistan. Only his three wives and dozens of children were on holiday in Pakistan from where they were picked up by Pakistani authorities. Abotabad is their favorite holiday destination.
