Terrorists in saffron by Swami Agnivesh

Bollocks.
You are 100% Indic.
Hindu converts.
Cheers, Doc
Another ill informed statement😅
All are converts. The French were Gaulic idol worshippers , The Romans, British, Norwegians etc. were all pagan, heathen idol worshippers.
Abraham was a pagan worshipping convert too when he realized that a rock is a rock and doesn't speak. He learnt that when building idols himself in his father Terah's workshop.
Here is what our cousin's say about us. They have views on the ancient Persians too.

.
I will have to agree with Doc here @Baibars_1260

Assyrians, Arabs and Jews aren't my cousins. Genealogy does not differentiate between religion.

Is it just me or is Tavleen Singh slightly cross eyed? She had a love child with Salman Taseer.

Before we descend the level of this conversation to ecclesiastical, to clarify:

A "cousin" by faith not race.
Which is why I get along fantastically with my Jewish and Christian friends.

A Parsi and a Hindu both have a common object of worship /reverence Agni or Fire . So there is much in common

Likewise for Jews, Christians and Muslims we have a Common Word the One True God, formless and eternal.

For some religion binds more. But for most culture binds more strongly

Of course! Culture is supreme.
Religion does impact culture though. If you see more videos in the link I posted you will see the cultural proximity Arabs have to Mizrahim Jews.( Arabic speaking Jews). What helps immensely is the religious similarities.

Which is why I disagree with over emphasis on the theory :
"Oh you are Hindu converts. What's the big deal? Jusr come home ,"
Funny they don't tell Sikhs that ...
Oh wait... Sikhs are really Hindus right? "
Wonder if the Wiccans today tell their fellow British citizens to revert to the Celtic religion.
This is a patronizing kind of sickening secularism where the theory is that Muslims of the subcontinent lost their minds to adopt a cult and we must treat them gently as mental patients requiring professional help.
It is degrading and demeaning to those who have given so much in terms of art, music, culture, architecture, the art of war to a land that was insular for so long.

Yes, we trashed the faith we were
born into as did our Christian cousins. We are satisfied and proud of our ancestors who evolved. We are not going back.

No, Tavleen Singh is not cross eyed. A very elegant lady in her early 70s.
I like her columns. I wish we had female journalists equivalent to her in Pakistan, Maleeha Lodi and Shirin Mazari both wrote well until they switched to politics.

Dude, give me a break with this thakela spiel which I've heard from countless Arab Turk and Persian Pakistanis since 2009 here.

And you are a Hindi speaking Pakistani muhajir.

Doesn't get more Indic than that.

Which per @masterchief_mirza is 99% Iranic anyways ....

So enzoi. Lol

Anyways you lost what little credibility you had with the buffalo dig. I don't appreciate Mullas dicking around with my papa faith.

Cheers, Doc

Bad English interspersed with Bambaiya Hindi.
Most Parsis I know are very eloquent in the language which they prefer to use because their Hindi has a somewhat amusing musical tone to it.
Pearl Padamsee spoke like that in the movie "Khatta Meetha" . ( a pre-"saffron era" movie when the Bombay film industry really produced some good art movies).
I personally have never met Bawas carrying their religion on their sleeve or making racist comments .
But then you're an outlier..

@padamchen is an outlier. The Parsis I have known have been very left wing and super chill (to which Doc will say- it's cause they live in Pakistan and they have to put up a facade).

It's true.

They are businessmen.

You control the country.

We don't want crazed mobs entering and burning our Agyaris.

Cheers, Doc

I guess Doc needs attention
Some Parsis become like that. I know a family who hails from a place called Dahanu ( no idea where that is) and till recently we had a very secular relationship. I never talked about my faith and they never talked about their faith either.
We were so secular that we even ignored each other's religious festivals and I would often "clink glasses" with the gentleman in our casual dinners and parties.
But recently they began sending me a very large number of Whatsapp messages informing me in detail about their faith and festivities. I began to wish them on Navroz and Pateti but never got a wish back on Eid. I wonder what's going . We had NEVER discussed religion and I never felt a conflict with Zoroastrianism. Needless to say we are still friends with a twist that we don't "clink glasses " anymore and for a person like me who loves a "chota peg " that's saying a lot.
I think Doc has gone over the edge.
On one hand he says we are "Indic" and "cousins" and on the other hand he goes into a " Shame Shame" mode holding us responsible for what Arabs did 1300 years back. By his own timeline we were not even converted then. So why should we care?

But even Parsis have their "moments"

In your overpowering need to sob on the young Muhajir's shoulders you are ignoring what I clearly told you.

We look at you as second hand converts.

Converted by our B team.

Who have nothing to do with what happened in Persia.

Yes,you are a danger to our social fabric and to that end we are totally aligned with the Hindus in first protecting our way of life.

That's natural. Don't grudge us for that.

We lost one homeland.

We'll be damned if we allow another to go down.

Cheers, Doc
