Loll his attitude will make less difference since he is living in a country that can build its own rockets and satellites worth 15 yrs lifetime. India had a whole 25 year HEADSTART over BD and still BD arguably gives it's majority of citizens
a better life than India can provide - albeit the difference is slight.

Now, even organisations like the IMF say that India can grow no quicker than around 6% for the rest of this decade. With a faster growing BD economy, in 15-20 years time, and more of this growth going to the masses rather than towards the richer people as in India, BD would then provide far superior living standards to it's masses than India will be able to.

Let some of these Indians dream of space rockets and satellites while 1/3rd of their fellow countrymen go to bed hungry every night.

Why is Vietnam so poor?

Are they grossly incompetent or did they only have peace after 1975 where they could start developing their country.

BD could only start developing after independence from 1972 as the priority of the former Pakistan was in the development of West Pakistan and the maintenance of a large army to try to fight India for Kashmir. Development the former East Pakistan(now BD) was pretty low down the list

But BD did become independent in '47 as East Pakistan with the likes Suhrawady at the forefront. So are you saying you were not independent between '47 and '71 - were you a colony ?
