that's why this whole episode of disrobing is a religious fraud

But the disrobing of Draupadi havnt took place . By the way People of Indus valley Civilization were producing cloth even before the Mahabharata. In Ramayan , Sita wore Sari .

Aryan Vedic dharma - impotent Aryan kings have their wives impregnated by their male servants ( e.g Pandu, Dasaratha) and later have them killed or banished to create a religious sham that the child was conceived through divine intervention of gods or mantras. In the case of Kunti it was premarital sex

This is according to whom ?

The eldest son of Kunti who was born when she was still a virgin which is similar like the birth of Isa Ibne Maryam .

Pranavananda Swami of Basaveshwara Mutt in Karnataka today flayed actor Kamal Haasan for his alleged insulting remarks on ‘Mahabharat’ and demanded an apology from him.

“It is unbecoming of actor Kamal Haasan to hurt the sentiments of any religious community, including Christians and Muslims. He has been in the thick of controversies even in the past, and we demand he should apologise,” Parvananda Swami told PTI here.

In an interview to a Tamil TV channel, the actor while esponding to a question about violence against women, particularly in the film industry, had said in this country, people read even books like the epic Mahabharat, wherein ‘even a woman was pledged in gamble, as a bet,’ an apparent reference to Paanchali.

Pranavananda Swami said the actor had always been in news for “hurting” the sentiments of religious communities and threatened to take legal action if he did not apologise for the controversial remarks.

“He should apologise in next three days, or else he must face legal action,” he said.

A complaint has been filed against Kamal Hassan in a court in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu by Hindu Makkal Katchi over his remarks about Mahabharatha.

Financial Express asks ‘anti-Hindu’ Kamal Haasan to mind his ‘own’ religion, quietly changes the article later

How does a major Indian media outlet deal with a blunderous article filled with astronomical factual inaccuracies? They change the content surreptitiously hoping that no one notices. Yesterday, Financial Express published an article authored by Manika Gupta and titled “Is Kamal Haasan anti-Hindu, does he even know what he is talking about?”. The article was in reference to Kamal Haasan’s recent comments on Draupadi and Mahabharata and the complaints filed against him by certain groups who were angered by his comment

The article in its present state can be accessed here => http://www.financialexpress.com/india-news/is-kamal-haasan-anti-hindu-does-he-even-know-what-he-is-talking-about/603025/

Para 4 of the original version of the article was even more shocking.

He is not only inciting enmity between the two groups but also forgetting that his own religion has instances of worst condition of women. He should focus on triple talaq and issues like that rather than bothering about one-off reference in the Mahabharata. Only if he could mind his own business!

No equivalent of this para exists in the revised version of the article. In the original version of the article, the author assumed that Kamal Haasan is Muslim, probably because of his name. She went on to attack him for the condition of women in ‘his’ religion and asked him to ‘mind’ his ‘own’ business. As it happens, Kamal Haasan was born in a Tamil Brahmin family in the town of Paramakudi, in the Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu, to D. Srinivasan and Rajalakshmi.

Clearly, the author doesn’t believe in researching the topic she writes about. Otherwise, it is difficult to come up with an article which is such a ginormous pile of rubbish. Also, a single Google search would have been enough to know that Kamal Haasan has publicly proclaimed himself to be an atheist on multiple occasions.
