You claimed you respect Chinese traditional culture. And yet you seem to put your region/tribe/dialect above the whole of Chinese interest. How you expect the vast amount of Chinese that are from different region agree with your point of view?

The so-called Taiwanese language/dialect is not native to Taiwan at all. It is Hokien/Mingnan. It originated from southern China, that is why you can speak and understand it even though you are not Taiwanese. Because your ancestor come from the same region in China.

Therefore, there are many many people unrelated to Taiwan from China mainland, south east asia and rest of the world that used the same dialect/language.

The Taiwanese has very little ground to claim that language as exclusively Taiwanese.

It is unfair to the true Hokien/MIngnan people from southern China people that invented and used that dialect/language since long long time ago.

How do you think they feel to see their language be claimed by people from some place that they might not even have been.
