NSA talks are off now.. Pak cancelled it ..Sadly Mr Aziz cant talk on terror alone nor without meeting Hurriya who don even represent 5% of J&K people or its mandate..
Its height of silliness.. The longer Kashmir chant continues in one side and other side Afganistan its Pakistan who is losing out..
Smart work By Sushma Swaraj.. The NSA talk was about terror only.. Anything beyond would nver be tabled.. FOr other all outstanding issues, a more convenient and bigger bilateral forum/summit should have been chosen involving much bigger stakeholders from respective governments.. Small things makes big difference...Pak lost a golden opportunity.. PM Modi, NSA Doval, EAM Sushma Swaraj came out victorious for their clear cut agenda of engaging with pak first on terror and then on everything with no compromise whatsoever.. With all details of Dawood, GPS coordinate details of captured terrorists Naved, even good mighty friends like USA or China would find it difficult to understand and support Pak directly indirectly by aid.. White house is already warning on aid stoppage for non performance on dismantling Haqqani network..Over time even China would come to realise how its being fooled too..
One honest observation is pak establishment are still following cold war jingoism and policies .. something which GOI post NDA coming to power is very keen to change and its engagement across the world seems to be very much working albeit a bit slowly.. In the same time "seasoned veteran" folks like Sartaj aziz and establishment are really napping too much..Wish they could also be a bit more active and come out of cold war strategies which are now obsolete..
